Job Description

We are urgently seeking a highly experienced and results-oriented Procurement Manager with a Civil Engineering background and extensive experience in major UAE contracting companies.

The candidate must have proven, hands-on procurement experience in civil construction projects , including infrastructure, roads, bridges, underpasses, utilities, and large-scale construction developments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the complete procurement function for multiple civil construction projects.
• Handle procurement of civil construction materials, equipment, subcontracting works, and services.
• Develop procurement strategies, budgets, and purchasing plans.
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Manage procurement activities for roads, bridges, infrastructure, and other civil engineering projects.
• Ensure cost-effective purchasing and timely material delivery.
• Maintain strong relationships with UAE suppliers and subcontractors.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineering, QS, Commercial, and Finance departments.
• Lead and supervise the procurement team.

Mandatory Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering – Mandatory.
• Minimum 10–15 years of procurement experience, with substantial UAE contracting experience.
• Proven procurement experience in civil construction projects is mandatory.
• Previous experience with major civil contracting and infrastructure companies.
• Strong knowledge of civil construction materials, technical specifications, subcontracting packages, and procurement procedures.
• Experience handling procurement for roads, bridges, underpasses, infrastructure, utilities, and large-scale civil projects.
• Established UAE supplier and subcontractor network.
• Excellent negotiation, cost-control, commercial, and leadership skills.
• Ability to independently manage the procurement department.

Important: Candidates with procurement experience limited to trading, retail, manufacturing, or non-construction industries will not be considered.
