The role works closely with business stakeholders, project teams, IT, Quality Assurance, and other cross-functional teams to identify process gaps, determine root causes, recommend improvements, and support the successful implementation and sustainability of process changes. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and experienced in process mapping, continuous improvement, stakeholder engagement, and data-driven problem solving. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Map, analyze, and document current-state ("as-is") and future-state ("to-be") business processes using methodologies such as BPMN, Lean, Six Sigma, SIPOC, and Value Stream Mapping . Identify process inefficiencies, bottlenecks, redundancies, risks, and control gaps through data analysis, stakeholder interviews, process observation, and workflow reviews. Conduct root cause analysis and develop practical recommendations to address process issues and improve operational performance. Design and recommend process improvements, automation opportunities, and control mechanisms to improve quality, reduce costs, minimize risks, and shorten cycle times. Facilitate process improvement workshops, Kaizen events, and stakeholder discussions to gather requirements, validate findings, and build consensus. Develop and maintain process documentation, including process maps, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, RACI matrices, and related process artifacts. Collaborate with IT, Developers, Quality Assurance, Project Managers, and business teams to ensure process requirements are clearly defined and successfully implemented. Support testing and validation activities for process and system changes, including UAT and post-implementation reviews. Monitor process performance through KPIs, metrics, reports, and dashboards, and recommend corrective or preventive actions when performance targets are not met. Support change management initiatives, including stakeholder communication, training, documentation, implementation support, and adoption monitoring. Identify opportunities to leverage technology, automation, and new approaches to address business and operational challenges. Ensure recommended process changes are aligned with organizational policies, controls, compliance requirements, and business objectives. Prioritize improvement opportunities based on business impact, feasibility, risk, and expected benefits. Escalate significant process risks, issues, and changes requiring management review or formal change management. Maintain awareness of emerging process improvement methodologies, technologies, and industry best practices. Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned. DECISION-MAKING RESPONSIBILITIES Determine root causes of process issues and recommend appropriate corrective and preventive actions. Assess and prioritize process improvement opportunities based on impact, urgency, risk, and feasibility. Recommend process changes that improve efficiency, quality, customer experience, and operational controls. Determine when process issues or proposed changes require escalation to management or formal change management. Exercise sound judgment when evaluating process risks, dependencies, and potential business impacts. WORKING RELATIONSHIPS Business Stakeholders: Gather requirements, validate processes, identify pain points, and align improvement initiatives with business needs. Project Manager / Team Lead: Consult regarding priorities, assignments, timelines, risks, and deliverables. IT / Developers: Communicate business and process requirements, proposed improvements, issues, dependencies, and expected outcomes. Quality Assurance: Collaborate on process validation, testing, quality controls, and implementation activities. Process / Continuous Improvement Teams: Collaborate on process analysis, improvement initiatives, methodologies, and best practices. KEY SUCCESS INDICATORS / ATTRIBUTES Strong expertise in business process mapping, analysis, and documentation . Practical knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, BPMN, SIPOC, Value Stream Mapping , or similar process improvement methodologies. Proficiency in process mapping and visualization tools such as Microsoft Visio, Lucidchart, or similar platforms . Strong analytical, critical thinking, reasoning, and problem-solving skills. Ability to conduct effective root cause analysis and translate findings into actionable recommendations. Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, presentation, verbal, and written communication skills. Results-oriented with the ability to deliver measurable improvements in efficiency, quality, cost, and cycle time. Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships based on credibility and trust. Proactive and adaptable, with the ability to respond effectively to changing business requirements and priorities. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and deliverables. Ability to influence and motivate stakeholders toward process improvement and organizational goals. Demonstrates sound judgment, decisiveness, professionalism, and accountability. Commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence. Willingness to stay current with emerging technologies, process improvement practices, software, systems, and industry trends. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications , particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Maintains courteous, respectful, and professional working relationships with employees, stakeholders, and customers. Complies with company security principles, policies, standards, procedures, applicable laws, and regulations. Demonstrates commitment and adherence to the organization's core values. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Information Technology, or a related field . 3-5 years of experience in process analysis, business process improvement, continuous improvement, operations excellence, or a related role. Candidates with 5-7 years of relevant professional experience are strongly preferred. Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered. CERTIFICATIONS Lean Six Sigma certification, BPMN certification, or equivalent process improvement credential is strongly preferred. Certification in Business Process Management, Continuous Improvement, or related disciplines is an advantage.
