This hands-on management position oversees print personnel, job flow, workflow performance, and the daily functions of the Print Division. Compensation is based on each candidate’s experience, skill set, and attitude. What You'll Do: · Lead daily Print division operations, ensuring accountability for personnel, workflow, quality, and performance. · Manage and support print team personnel by assigning work, communicating priorities, ensuring process compliance, and promoting a safe, collaborative workplace. · Manage print orders from estimating and production through quality control, shipping, and billing. · Balance labor, equipment capacity, materials, deadlines, and changing priorities. · Track job progress and resolve delays, bottlenecks, and shortages. Review quality issues and keep clients and internal project managers informed. · Review estimates, job costs and workflow performance for proper margins. Prepare operational reports. · Manage substrates, inks, consumables and machine needs as well as vendors, product research and supplier relationships. · Maintain accurate job, inventory, and workflow data in FileMaker and related systems. · Provide hands-on support as needed, including color matching, quality control, boxing, and shipping. · Improve procedures, communication, quality, on-time delivery, and cross-functional coordination. · Work on a diverse range of projects, with a significant concentration in the college athletics and higher education market. What We're Looking For: · Experience managing print production, wide-format printing, or a comparable print production environment. · Proven ability to lead employees, assign work, manage performance, and build a productive team culture. · Strong knowledge of scheduling, job flow, estimating, billing, inventory, purchasing, quality control, shipping, job costs, and workflow metrics. · Excellent organization, prioritization, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills under shifting deadlines. · Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn FileMaker and other production/business software. · Experience maintaining HP, Vanguard, and Zünd machines preferred; Onyx RIP and Adobe Creative Suite experience a plus. · Self-motivated, detail-oriented, professional, proactive, collaborative, and committed to quality customer service.
