What you'll do: Discovery & Strategy: Meet with customer IT teams, architects, and CXOs to understand their current pain points, legacy infrastructure, and cloud strategy. Map technical requirements directly to the VMware Portfolio: VCF (VMware Cloud Foundation): Private and hybrid cloud infrastructure VVF (VMware vSphere Foundation): Core virtualization and workload management. VMware Advanced Services: Add-ons such as ANS (Advanced Networking & Security / Avi), DSM (Data Services Manager), and SRM (Site Recovery Manager), etc Present product demonstrations highlighting specific customer use cases Lead Proofs of Concept (PoCs) when needed to validate VMware technology Design High-Level Architectures (HLD) and complete technical responses for RFPs and RFIs. Post-Sales Alignment: Build relationships with customer engineers and architects while partnering with the Partner Implementation Services team to ensure delivered solutions align with the design. Customer Adoption: Work with customers post-deployment to drive feature adoption and ensure ongoing value realization. Escalation Support: Assist with post-sales escalation activities when critical customer issues arise. What you bring: 5–8+ years of Presales, Solutions Architect, Systems Engineer, or Infrastructure Consultant experience , preferably in enterprise IT solutions. Proven experience designing and presenting virtualization, private cloud, hybrid cloud, and data center infrastructure solutions. Experience conducting customer discovery workshops, technical presentations, product demonstrations, and Proof of Concepts (PoCs). Strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure , including servers, storage, networking, virtualization, disaster recovery, and cloud technologies. Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage technical teams, architects, and executive stakeholders. Experience supporting enterprise and/or government customers is highly preferred.
