Preboarding Lead

We’re hiring: AMS Preboarding Lead

We’re looking for an experienced Preboarding Lead to lead a regional team of Preboarding Specialists supporting Baker Hughes.

This is a true people and operational leadership role . You’ll be accountable for ensuring the team has the direction, capability, capacity and support needed to deliver accurate, compliant and candidate-focused preboarding services.

What you’ll lead:

• Daily service delivery, case allocation and workload balancing
• Coaching, development and performance of Preboarding Specialists
• Quality, compliance, productivity and SLA performance
• Aged cases, critical milestones and potential start-date risks
• First-line operational escalations and complex case resolution
• Capacity planning, coverage and resource recommendations
• Operational dashboards, performance reporting and corrective actions
• Strong partnerships across Talent Acquisition, P&C, vendors and enabling teams
• Continuous improvement and consistent ways of working across the team

What we’re looking for:

• Significant experience in Preboarding, Onboarding, Talent Acquisition Operations, HR Operations or shared services
• Demonstrated experience leading or coaching an operational team
• Strong understanding of candidate case management, employment documentation and pre-employment compliance
• Excellent workload, capacity and priority-management skills
• Experience managing escalations and service-performance risks
• Confidence using operational data to drive decisions and improvements
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience with Workday, ServiceNow and Microsoft Office
• Experience in an RPO/outsourced environment or leading geographically dispersed teams is highly desirable

This role is particularly suited to someone who can balance people leadership, operational performance, candidate experience and compliance while creating a high-performing and supportive team environment.

We’re looking for an AMS Preboarding Lead who can bring together people leadership, operational excellence and a strong candidate-first mindset.

You’ll lead a regional team of Preboarding Specialists, helping them navigate priorities, complex cases, compliance requirements and changing volumes while building their capability and creating an environment where they can perform at their best.

This is not a full-workload Specialist position with team administration added on top . The focus is leadership.

You’ll spend your time:

Leading daily operations and balancing workloads

Coaching and developing Preboarding Specialists

Monitoring quality, compliance, SLAs and ageing

Managing escalations and resolving complex cases

Identifying capacity and service-delivery risks early

Turning operational data into practical action

Strengthening consistency, cross-training and knowledge sharing

Partnering with Baker Hughes Preboarding leadership, Talent Acquisition, P&C and vendors

Driving continuous improvement across the operation

We’d particularly like to hear from people with strong experience in Preboarding, Onboarding, TA Operations, HR Operations, shared services or RPO , combined with proven experience leading or coaching operational teams.

Knowledge of Workday, ServiceNow and pre-employment processes will be important.
