Pre-Sales Engineer

Leading IT infrastructure projects company is looking forward to hire a Pre-sales Engineer in its Pre-sales dept. Company undertakes critical IT infrastructure projects in the region working along side the critical players. The Pre sales department crafts industry best solutions to client requirements there by enhance sales and support the process.

Responsibilities

• Proactively scopes the technical solution required to address customer requirements, assesses customers’ met and unmet needs, and recommends solutions that optimize value for both the customer and the firm.
• Secures input from all necessary solution stakeholders within the customer firm. Adapts solutions, as necessary, to ensure appropriate support.
• Provides coaching and professional development to team-member sales associates in order to enhance their product knowledge, technical acumen, and technical sales skills.
• Opportunistically pursues additional business development opportunities within customer firms. Collaborates with sales to ensure these opportunities are effectively covered and supports the progress of these opportunities to closure.
• Monitors customer support for technical solutions proposed throughout the sales process, and alerts the sales and account teams to potential risks of deal closure.

Experience

• BS/B tech in MIS, Computer Science or technical field or equivalent experience
• 6-7 years IT industry experience with at least 4-5 years of success in a technical presales engineer role.
• Possess a very broad and deep level of knowledge and understanding of variety of IT technologies including systems, cloud computing ,virtualization, networking etc
• Experience in preparing training manuals/slides for end-users as per the requirement.
• Strong understanding of IT security principles and practice
• Have a good database of vendors and suppliers
• Customer focused
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to successfully work autonomously while demonstrating excellent time management skills
• Experience in attending trade shows, exhibitions and events
• Be able to translate technical advantages into business benefits

Pay: From AED8,500.00 per month
