About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Power BI Developer to design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and data models that support business intelligence and data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Power BI, DAX, Power Query, data modeling, and integration with Microsoft business applications and enterprise data platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI reports, dashboards, datasets, and semantic models.
• Develop advanced calculations, measures, and business logic using DAX and Power Query.
• Design and optimize data models to ensure accuracy, scalability, and efficient report performance.
• Integrate data from Microsoft Dynamics 365, Microsoft Dataverse, SQL Server, Excel, APIs, SSIS, and Azure Data Factory.
• Develop and maintain data transformation workflows and support data integration requirements.
• Optimize report performance, query execution, and dataset refresh processes.
• Configure and manage data gateways, scheduled refreshes, and row-level security (RLS).
• Troubleshoot data discrepancies, refresh failures, connectivity issues, and performance bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and technical teams to translate reporting requirements into actionable insights.
• Maintain technical documentation and follow established data governance and security standards.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Power BI development, business intelligence, or data analytics.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Microsoft Power BI, including report development, dashboards, and semantic modeling.
• Advanced knowledge of DAX, Power Query (M), and data modeling principles.
• Experience integrating data from multiple sources, including SQL Server, Excel, REST APIs, Microsoft Dataverse, and Dynamics 365.
• Familiarity with SSIS and Azure Data Factory for data integration and transformation.
• Experience with Power BI Service, dataset refresh management, gateway administration, and row-level security.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work with business stakeholders and technical teams to understand reporting requirements and deliver effective BI solutions.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Arabic language skills are preferred , particularly for roles involving Arabic-speaking stakeholders.

Work Arrangement

• Onsite engagement at the client's location in Dubai, UAE.
• Five working days per week during UAE business hours.
• Candidates must be eligible to meet the applicable UAE employment and work authorization requirements.
