PLANT OPERATIONS MANAGER – COOKING OIL REPACKING & FMCG A. Macalindong Group of Companies (AMGC) is looking for a hands-on and experienced Plant Operations Manager to lead the set-up, commissioning, operation, and continuous improvement of our cooking oil repacking facility. Location: Cuenca, Batangas Job Type: Full-Time, On-site Department: Operations / Manufacturing Reports To: Business Unit Head / President & CEO Job Summary The Plant Operations Manager will lead the complete establishment and operation of the cooking oil repacking production line. This includes production systems, equipment installation and commissioning, SOPs, GMP, food safety, FDA readiness, quality, productivity, cost control, safety, and team development. Key Responsibilities Lead the set-up, installation, testing, dry runs, trial production, and commissioning of the cooking oil repacking line. Plan and manage daily, weekly, and monthly production activities. Monitor production output, efficiency, yield, wastage, downtime, OEE, and cost per liter or case. Develop and implement SOPs for machine operation, filling, packaging, sanitation, quality inspection, batch control, maintenance, and safety. Implement and maintain GMP, HACCP, SSOP, sanitation, traceability, food-safety controls, and FDA inspection readiness. Coordinate with QA, Food Safety, Regulatory, Warehouse, Maintenance, suppliers, and contractors. Ensure complete production records, batch or lot identification, and product recall or withdrawal procedures. Lead manpower planning, work assignment, training, coaching, discipline, cross-training, and performance management. Establish preventive maintenance, equipment inspection, spare-parts control, and downtime reporting. Drive 5S, safety, root-cause analysis, corrective action, and continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Chemistry, Sanitary Engineering, or a related field. At least 5 years of experience in manufacturing or plant operations. Experience in FMCG, food manufacturing, cooking oil or edible oil, food repacking, liquid filling, bottling, packaging lines, or plant start-up is highly preferred. Must have actual hands-on experience in setting up, commissioning, or significantly improving a production or repacking line. Strong knowledge of GMP, HACCP, SSOP, food safety, FDA requirements, audit preparation, CAPA, RCA, traceability, and product recall procedures. Strong leadership, planning, problem-solving, and people-management skills. Willing to work on-site in Cuenca, Batangas. Compensation Basic Salary: ₱50,000 per month Performance Incentive: ₱20,000, subject to agreed performance targets and company policy.
