We are looking for a Senior Electromechanical Engineer who will serve as the technical authority on our plant floor. Someone who leads from the front, works alongside the technician team, and takes full ownership of equipment reliability across our operations. You will direct the daily work of maintenance technicians, own the preventive maintenance program, and serve as the primary escalation point between the floor and senior management. This is not a desk job. Minimum five years of hands-on industrial electromechanical maintenance experience required. Candidates with fewer than five years of relevant experience need not apply. Leadership and Team Coordination Lead and direct the daily work of plant maintenance technicians — assigning tasks, setting priorities, and ensuring the shift runs with clarity and purpose Run shift toolbox meetings and briefings, translating management priorities into concrete technical assignments Serve as the first technical escalation point when a fault exceeds technician capability. You will own the diagnosis and own the resolution Mentor technicians in diagnostic methodology, safe work practices, and correct maintenance execution Report equipment status, fault trends, and maintenance KPI updates directly to operations management on a regular cadence Develop and enforce standard operating procedures for all maintenance activities Core Technical Competencies Electrical and Controls — the primary focus of this role PLC programming and troubleshooting across Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Omron, or Mitsubishi platforms Variable frequency drives — parameter setting, fault diagnosis, drive replacement HMI and SCADA interface operation and configuration Reading and interpreting electrical schematics, ladder diagrams, and P&IDs Motor controls, contactors, relays, overloads, and circuit protection Insulation resistance testing, phase balancing, and motor performance evaluation Control panel fault diagnosis and modification Mechanical Systems Bearings, shafts, gearboxes, belts, and conveyor drive systems Tunnel washer press sections, transfer mechanisms, and drum assemblies Preventive and corrective maintenance scheduling and execution Gearbox and rotating equipment overhaul Pneumatics and Hydraulics Pneumatic valve troubleshooting — solenoid valves and directional control valves Hydraulic system diagnosis — pumps, actuators, cylinders, and pressure regulation Compressed air system maintenance and leak detection Sensors and Instrumentation Level, pressure, temperature, and flow sensors Proximity switches, encoders, and photo-eyes Sensor calibration, loop checking, and replacement Work Traits We Will Screen For Takes charge on the floor without waiting to be told. Diagnoses root cause before reaching for a replacement part Builds a team Documents fault logs, maintenance records, and repair reports with discipline Trains operators and junior technicians as a matter of habit Proactive on predictive and preventive maintenance Engineering Analysis and Problem-Solving Proficient in structured root cause analysis methodologies including Fishbone (Ishikawa) diagrams, 5M+E (Man, Machine, Method, Material, Measurement, Environment), 5-Why analysis, and Fault Tree Analysis Able to distinguish between symptom and cause — will not close a work order until the root cause is identified. Documents root cause findings in a format that prevents recurrence. Capable of running a root cause analysis session with the technician team Applies FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) thinking to preventive maintenance planning — anticipates failure modes before they occur rather than only responding after Uses data from fault logs and equipment history to identify patterns and prioritize maintenance resources toward highest-risk equipment Can produce a concise one-page fault analysis summary that operations management can read and act on — clear finding, clear cause, clear corrective action, clear preventive measure Credentials Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electromechanical Technology PRC Licensed Electrical Engineer strongly preferred Minimum five years of industrial maintenance experience with direct exposure to large electromechanical systems Prior experience leading or supervising a technical team is a significant advantage Compensation and Benefits Salary: PHP 53,000 – 63,000 per month depending on experience and credentials Health insurance (HMO) 13th month pay SSS, PhilHealth, and HDMF Vacation and sick leave upon regularization On-site parking Pay: Php53,000.00 - Php63,000.00 per month Benefits: Free parking Health insurance On-site parking Opportunities for promotion Application Question(s): How may years experience do you have in plant electro-mechanical operations?
