# Planning Engineer (Exp with High Rise Bldg) **Wadan Real Estate Development LLC** · Dubai · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: 7 дней назад* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role Position : Planning Engineer Industry : Construction – High-Rise Buildings Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Planning Engineer for Autolink Contracting LLC to manage project planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting for high-rise building construction projects. The role will involve developing and maintaining detailed project schedules, tracking progress against planned targets, identifying delays and risks, and coordinating with project teams, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely project completion. Key Responsibilities - Develop and maintain detailed b aseline and working schedules for high-rise building projects. - Prepare project schedules using Primavera P6 / MS Project. - Develop WBS, activity lists, logic relationships, durations, calendars, and resource requirements. - Monitor actual progress against planned progress and update schedules regularly. - Preparedaily, weekly, and monthly progress reports. - Prepare S-curves, progress curves, manpower histograms, and productivity reports. - Track critical path activities and identify potential delays and schedule risks. - Conduct Critical Path Method (CPM) analysis and recommend recovery measures. - Coordinate with construction, engineering, procurement, commercial, QA/QC, and MEP teams. - Monitor subcontractor schedules and evaluate their progress against approved programmes. - Review construction sequences, particularly for structural, architectural, façade, and MEP works. - Prepare l ook-ahead schedules (2-week, 3-week, and/or 4-week). - Monitor procurement and material delivery schedules and their impact on construction activities. - Analyze delays and prepare delay notifications, recovery programmes, and time-impact analysis when required. - Assist in preparation of Extension of Time (EOT) submissions and supporting programme documentation. - Maintain records of planned versus actual progress and update forecasts for project completion. - Participate in progress meetings with the Project Manager, Consultant, Client, and subcontractors. - Identify schedule constraints and coordinate with relevant departments for timely resolution. - Prepare manpower and resource forecasts based on project requirements. - Ensure project activities are aligned with contractual milestones and key completion dates. - Support project management in developing recovery and acceleration plans where required. - Maintain proper planning documentation and ensure schedule revisions are controlled. High-Rise Construction Knowledge The candidate should have practical knowledge of planning and sequencing for: - Excavation, shoring, and foundation works - Raft and pile foundation works - Basement construction - RC structural works - Core wall and shear wall construction - Column, beam, and slab cycles - Formwork and reinforcement activities - Tower crane and material hoist planning - Façade and curtain wall works - Blockwork and plastering - MEP first fix and second fix - Waterproofing works - Internal and external finishes - Testing & commissioning - Authority inspections and approvals - Snagging, testing, and project handover Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field. - 5–10 years of relevant UAE experience in construction planning, preferably on high-rise building projects. - Strong experience with Primavera P6. - Good knowledge of construction methodologies and project scheduling. - Experience with progress measurement, reporting, and schedule analysis. - Knowledge of contractual requirements and delay/EOT procedures is preferred.
