# Planning Engineer **Luxury Project Builder LLC** · Abu Dhabi · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: вчера* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role Job Summary The Planning Engineer is responsible for developing, monitoring, and updating project schedules to ensure construction activities are completed within the approved time frame and in accordance with project requirements. The role involves coordinating with project teams, subcontractors, consultants, and clients to monitor progress, identify delays, and support timely project completion. Key Responsibilities Prepare baseline programs, detailed work schedules, and recovery programs as required. Monitor actual project progress against the approved baseline schedule. Collect and analyze progress data from site teams and subcontractors. Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, including planned vs. actual progress. Identify delays, critical activities, and potential schedule risks. Prepare delay analysis and recommend appropriate corrective and recovery measures. Coordinate with Project Managers, Construction Managers, Engineers, subcontractors, and site teams regarding project progress. Update project schedules based on approved variations, changes, and site conditions. Prepare manpower, equipment, and resource requirements in coordination with the project team. Monitor project milestones and ensure key activities are progressing according to schedule. Prepare progress curves, S-curves, dashboards, and other project control reports. Review subcontractors' schedules and progress submissions and ensure alignment with the approved master program. Attend progress meetings and provide updates on project schedule and performance. Maintain proper records of project progress, delays, and schedule revisions. Assist the Project Manager in developing mitigation and recovery plans for delayed activities. Coordinate with the commercial team regarding time-related matters, variations, and potential extension-of-time claims. Ensure planning and reporting activities comply with company procedures and project requirements. Perform other planning and project-control duties as assigned by management. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field . Minimum 3–8 years of relevant experience in construction planning/project controls. UAE/GCC construction experience is preferred. Good knowledge of construction sequencing, project scheduling, and progress monitoring. Experience in preparing project reports, S-curves, look-ahead schedules, and recovery programs. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications. Good communication, coordination, analytical, and reporting skills.
