Planner – Fit-Out & Construction

Job Summary

Veloche Contracting is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Planner to join our team. The Planner will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and updating project schedules, tracking project progress, identifying potential delays, and coordinating with project teams to ensure projects are completed within the planned timeframes.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in UAE construction/fit-out projects and be proficient in Primavera P6 and/or MS Project .

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed project schedules and programmes for fit-out and construction projects.
• Prepare baseline programmes, recovery programmes, look-ahead schedules, and updated schedules.
• Monitor project progress against the approved baseline programme.
• Collect and verify progress updates from project and site teams.
• Track project milestones, critical activities, and key deliverables.
• Identify delays, slippages, and potential risks affecting project completion.
• Assist the Project Manager in preparing mitigation and recovery plans.
• Prepare weekly and monthly project progress reports.
• Prepare S-curves, progress charts, manpower histograms, and other planning reports.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, Site Supervisors, Procurement, Estimation, and subcontractors.
• Monitor manpower, material, and resource requirements against project schedules.
• Update project schedules based on actual site progress.
• Assist with delay analysis and Extension of Time (EOT) documentation when required.
• Maintain accurate planning records and project documentation.
• Provide regular updates to management regarding project progress, delays, and forecast completion dates.
• Ensure project activities are properly sequenced and aligned with project deadlines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management , or a related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant UAE experience in construction or fit-out planning.
• Strong experience in Primavera P6 and/or MS Project .
• Good understanding of construction and interior fit-out activities.
• Experience in preparing and monitoring project schedules.
• Knowledge of critical path, resource planning, progress measurement, and delay analysis.
• Strong knowledge of MS Excel and other MS Office applications.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks and work under tight deadlines.
• UAE experience in fit-out contracting will be an advantage.

Experience

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
