Piling Foreman -Must be problem Solver – Roles & Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate all piling and foundation activities at site in accordance with approved drawings, method statements, specifications, and project requirements. Manage execution of bored piles, CFA piles, driven piles, micro piles, secant/contiguous piles and shoring works , as applicable to the project. Supervise piling crews, rig operators, welders, helpers, crane operators and other site personnel. Coordinate daily deployment of piling rigs, cranes, excavators, concrete pumps and other equipment to achieve planned productivity. Ensure correct pile location, diameter, depth, verticality and cut-off level as per approved drawings and survey setting-out. Supervise drilling operations and monitor bore depth, soil conditions, casing installation and use of bentonite/polymer slurry where applicable. Ensure proper cleaning of pile bore before reinforcement cage installation and concreting. Supervise fabrication, lifting and installation of reinforcement cages , including proper laps, spacers, centralizers and cage levels. Supervise tremie pipe installation and pile concreting , ensuring continuous concrete placement and avoiding segregation or contamination. Coordinate concrete supply and ensure adequate concrete availability before starting pile casting. Maintain records of actual pile depth, concrete consumption, reinforcement installation and other daily production information. Immediately report abnormal conditions such as bore collapse, excessive concrete consumption, obstruction, groundwater issues, rig breakdown or pile deviation . Coordinate with Site Engineers, Project Engineers, Surveyors, QA/QC Engineers, Safety Officers and subcontractors. Ensure work is carried out according to approved ITP, method statement, risk assessment and inspection requirements . Coordinate with QA/QC personnel for pile inspections and testing, including PIT, CSL, static load tests and dynamic load tests , where applicable. Ensure all piling machinery, lifting accessories and tools are inspected and safe for operation. Conduct daily toolbox talks and enforce PPE, lifting safety, exclusion zones and safe working practices around piling rigs and heavy equipment. Monitor manpower productivity and prepare daily work targets for piling teams. Maintain good housekeeping around piling locations and ensure safe access for rigs, cranes and concrete trucks. Minimize wastage of concrete, reinforcement steel, casing, slurry and other project materials. Coordinate equipment maintenance and immediately report breakdowns that may affect the construction programme. Ensure completed piles are properly protected and pile heads are maintained until subsequent foundation works commence. Assist engineers in resolving site-related technical and execution issues. Maintain daily piling progress records , including piles completed, manpower, equipment utilization, concrete quantities and delays. Ensure piling activities are completed according to the approved programme and immediately highlight potential delays to the Site/Project Engineer. Carry out any other piling, foundation or site-supervision duties assigned by the Project Manager or Construction Manager. Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
