Our firm specializes in vindicating the rights of employees who have experienced unlawful treatment in the workplace. We fiercely litigate individual wrongful termination, discrimination, and harassment cases, as well as large-scale wage-and-hour class actions and PAGA representative claims. We are looking for a passionate, driven paralegal/legal assistant to join our collaborative team and advocate for workers' rights. Responsibillities - Provide administrative support to attorneys - Review, track and respond to emails - Propound discovery - Prepare draft responses to discovery requests - Prepare, serve and file all pleadings - Calendaring hearings, depositions, mediations and trials including corresponding deadlines - Track attorney calendar and deadlines - Prepare and file Minor’s Compromises - Trial preparation Skills - MUST have proven work experience in Personal Injury litigation (at least two years) - Familiarity with legal procedures and protocols - Working knowledge of case management software preferred experience with FileVine - Ability to juggle multiple tasks and work under pressure - Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment - Great attention to detail and organization - Familiarity with e-filing procedures in state and federal court How to Apply Please submit your résumé and a brief cover letter explaining your interest in plaintiff-side advocacy, to kimn@jadelegacy1.com.
