You’ll be working on websites for a variety of TWS clients — from building new pages and features to troubleshooting, making updates, and keeping things running smoothly. This is a hands-on role for someone who can take a project, figure out what needs to happen, and get it done. WHAT YOU’LL DO Build, update, and maintain WordPress websites Develop responsive, user-friendly websites and web pages Work with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and WordPress Troubleshoot website issues and identify solutions Manage website updates, integrations, plugins, forms, and other functionality Collaborate with our designers, digital team, and account managers to bring creative concepts to life Translate designs into functional, polished websites Perform website QA before projects go live Help identify and resolve website performance, functionality, and technical issues Keep projects organized and communicate clearly about timelines, blockers, and technical needs Jump into existing websites and codebases and quickly understand how things are built WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR We’re looking for someone who: Has professional experience developing websites, ideally in an agency or client-service environment Is comfortable working in WordPress Has a solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP Can troubleshoot problems rather than immediately throwing them over the wall to someone else Can work from a design and turn it into a polished, functional website Understands responsive design and cross-browser functionality Pays attention to the little things, because a website can look great and still be broken Can manage multiple projects and deadlines Communicates well and isn't afraid to ask questions when something isn't clear Can work independently but knows when to pull in the rest of the team Is comfortable working in a fast-moving creative agency where priorities can shift BONUS POINTS Experience with any of the following is a plus: Elementor or other WordPress page builders Custom WordPress development ACF Git/GitHub Google Analytics / Tag Manager SEO best practices Website accessibility / WCAG Website performance optimization Third-party API or platform integrations THE DETAILS Contract: 6 months Hours: Minimum 20 hours/week Pay: $26–$34/hour DOE Location: Spokane, WA Start Date: October 2026 ABOUT THE WOODSHOP We’re The Woodshop, a full-service creative agency in Spokane, Washington.
