We’re looking for a creative, organized social media manager to help grow her personal brand through visually compelling content that captures her expertise, personality, and approach to styling. The ideal candidate has an eye for luxury aesthetics and can create content that feels elevated, cohesive, and distinctly Crystal. About the Role You’ll manage content from idea to post for @curationsbycrystal. Working directly with Crystal, you’ll plan concepts, film on site, and turn footage into polished content that feels elevated, approachable, and personal. Content will center on Crystal, her personal style, favorite jewelry, creative process, and perspective as a luxury piercing jewelry stylist and business owner. From client transformations and styling advice to everyday inspiration and behind-the-scenes moments, each piece of content should bring her personality, expertise, and eye for detail to life. We’re looking for someone who can make beautiful content while helping Crystal feel comfortable and confident on camera. This is a short-term opportunity with the potential to become an ongoing role based on performance, creative fit, and the needs of the brand. Responsibilities - Develop a monthly content calendar with clear concepts, filming plans, and posting schedules. - Spend approximately 4–6 hours per week on site capturing photo and video content. - Film jewelry close-ups, styling sessions, client reveals, educational videos, and behind-the-scenes moments. - Guide Crystal on camera with prompts, direction, and engaging talking points. - Edit Instagram Reels, Stories, and photo content with attention to lighting, pacing, sound, and visual consistency. - Write captions that reflect Crystal’s voice and encourage conversation, styling inquiries, and jewelry discovery. - Schedule and publish content for @curationsbycrystal. - Monitor comments and DMs, respond warmly, and direct client questions or booking inquiries to the appropriate team member. - Bring fresh ideas for recurring series and trends that fit the brand. - Share a brief monthly performance recap with recommendations for upcoming content. What We’re Looking For - Experience creating and managing content for Instagram & TikTok, with a portfolio of short-form video work. - Strong filming and editing skills, including capturing small details and jewelry close-ups. - A creative eye for luxury branding, fine jewelry, fashion, beauty - The ability to balance polished visuals with natural, personality-driven storytelling. - Confidence directing someone on camera and turning their expertise into engaging content. - Strong writing, organization, and time-management skills. - A proactive approach to pitching ideas and following projects through to completion. - Availability for consistent in-person filming in Canoga Park.
