Part-Time Social Media Content Creator – Arts & Crafts Studio Location: Boston, MA — In PersonJob Type: Part-timePay: $22–$26 per hourExpected Hours: 6–8 hours per weekSchedule: Flexible About Us We are a hands-on arts and crafts studio in Boston offering creative workshops, handmade products, jewelry making, polymer clay, leather crafts, pottery, and private events. We are looking for a creative, reliable Social Media Content Creator who enjoys arts and crafts and can help us capture the fun, relaxing, and social experience of our studio. This is not a fully remote position. You must be able to come to our Boston studio regularly to film content. What You’ll Do Come to the studio approximately once per week to film content Create around 3 short-form videos per week for Instagram Reels and TikTok Capture photos and short clips of workshops, products, customers, events, and behind-the-scenes moments Edit short-form videos using CapCut, Premiere, or similar tools Write simple captions and help publish/schedule content Create Instagram Stories using existing and newly filmed content Research relevant trends and develop content ideas for the studio Help promote workshops, private events, new products, and seasonal activities Maintain a consistent visual style across our social media Some editing and content planning can be completed remotely. Who We’re Looking For Experience filming and editing short-form social media content Strong visual sense and understanding of Instagram Reels / TikTok Comfortable filming in a busy, hands-on studio environment Able to work independently without needing detailed instructions for every piece of content Reliable and able to meet weekly content deadlines Comfortable using CapCut, Canva, Premiere, or similar tools Able to work in person in Boston Experience or personal interest in arts, crafts, jewelry making, pottery, polymer clay, sewing, fashion, DIY, or other creative fields is strongly preferred. Bonus Photography experience Previous experience creating content for a small business Experience with lifestyle, fashion, jewelry, art, or creative brands Familiarity with Xiaohongshu / RED Comfortable appearing on camera occasionally Experience creating UGC-style content Typical Weekly Deliverables Approximately: 1 in-person filming session 3 edited short-form videos 10–20 usable photos/video clips 3–5 sets of Instagram Story content Basic caption writing and posting Weekly content ideas and trend research We care more about quality and consistency than simply posting as much as possible.
