# Part-Time Showroom Sales Consultant **GEODIS IRELAND** · DUBLIN 1, County Dublin · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: 4 дня назад* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role The Role As a Sales Consultant in our brand new location based in Arnotts Dublin, you will be the first point of contact for customers visiting our showroom, guiding them through our kitchen ranges, understanding their needs and lifestyle, and arranging an appointment for them with our Kitchen design team who help them to design the kitchen of their dreams. This is a part-time, customer-facing role suited to someone who enjoys interiors, design and working with people, and who is available to cover evening and weekend showroom hours. Key Responsibilities Welcome and engage showroom visitors, providing a warm, knowledgeable first impression of the Horizon brand. Understand each customer's requirements, budget and design preferences through open, consultative conversation. Guide customers through kitchen ranges, materials, finishes and layout options, using showroom displays and our wide range of previous designs. Schedule appointments for customers who wish to progress to a design appointment with a member of our design team. Keep the showroom floor, displays and brochures presented to a high standard at all times. Stay up to date on product ranges, current interior design trends and competitor offerings. Work closely with the design and installation teams to ensure a seamless customer journey from initial consultation to fit-out. Candidate Profile Essential: Proven experience in a sales, retail or customer-facing role, ideally within a showroom, interiors or premium retail environment. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust quickly. A confident, consultative sales style — comfortable guiding customers rather than simply "selling" to them. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills. Comfortable using standard IT systems (email, CRM software). Flexible and available to work evenings and weekends on a regular, part-time basis. A professional, polished manner in keeping with a high-end retail environment. Desirable: A keen interest in interior design, home renovation or architecture. Experience using CAD or kitchen design software (e.g. Planit, 20-20 Design, Winner Design, AutoCAD or similar) is highly desirable but not essential. Previous experience selling bespoke, made-to-measure or high-value home products (kitchens, furniture, joinery, bathrooms) is highly desirable but not essential. A design, architecture, interiors or related qualification is highly desirable but not essential. What We Offer A competitive hourly/base rate.
