Part Time Office Assistant
Hayward, CA Part-Time – Approximately 24 Hours Per Week Monday–Friday | Hours scheduled between 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Entry-Level Opportunity We are a busy staffing agency looking for an energetic, organized, and dependable Recruiter / Office Assistant to join our Hayward office. This is a great entry-level opportunity for someone with strong customer service and communication skills who enjoys working with people and is interested in learning recruiting, staffing, and office operations. Responsibilities Recruit and screen candidates for available positions Conduct phone screenings and assist with interviews Follow up with applicants and employees by phone, text, and email Assist candidates with applications and onboarding paperwork Answer incoming calls and provide excellent customer service Maintain organized employee and candidate records Enter and update information in our computer system Assist with filling open positions and confirming employee schedules Perform general office and administrative duties Follow up on assigned tasks without needing constant supervision Help maintain an organized and professional office environment What We're Looking For Strong customer service and people skills Friendly, professional, and comfortable speaking on the phone Organized and detail-oriented Able to work independently Takes initiative and looks for what needs to be done Dependable and able to manage multiple priorities Basic computer, email, and data-entry skills Comfortable learning new systems Strong follow-up and communication skills Recruiting or staffing experience is a plus, but not required Schedule Approximately 24 hours per week , Monday through Friday, with shifts scheduled between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM . No recruiting experience? That's okay! We're open to motivated entry-level candidates who have a strong customer service background, are eager to learn, and aren't afraid to take initiative. Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 24.0 per week Work Location: In person
