We work with global brands, event producers, and wellness professionals—including Live Nation, Lululemon, and Encore—to transform events through sound. Backed by an experienced network of creative partners and a growing library of customer stories, we are looking for a sharp, hands-on marketing leader to translate strategy into clear priorities, coordinated execution, and measurable growth. The Role The Marketing and Creative Operations Manager leads the planning, coordination, and performance of Sound Off’s marketing initiatives, reporting directly to and working closely with the CEO. This is a part-time player-coach role designed for someone who thrives at moving between strategy and project orchestration. Because this is a part-time position, your primary focus is establishing priorities, setting creative direction, and directing execution through our internal and external creative resources. You will own the marketing calendar, campaign strategy, creative standards, and performance oversight. Direct, hands-on execution on your end will focus on high-priority campaign setups, creative briefs, and high-stakes launches. Marketing Leadership & CEO Alignment Partner closely with the CEO to translate overall business strategy into actionable marketing priorities, campaign calendars, and launch plans. Maintain a centralized marketing production calendar with explicit deadlines, responsibilities, approval paths, and performance targets. Balance team capacity across ongoing channel growth, key events, revenue priorities, and long-term brand initiatives. Remove execution bottlenecks, ensuring campaigns launch on time and fully aligned across social, email, web, and event channels. Provide the CEO with concise, regular visibility into marketing priorities, active campaigns, upcoming launches, and key performance metrics. Fitness & Wellness Community Marketing Lead marketing strategy and campaign execution to drive brand awareness and attendance for Sound Off’s fitness, yoga, wellness, and experiential activations. Build and guide partnerships with studios, fitness creators, wellness instructors, run clubs, and lifestyle venues. Translate community engagement and organic event interest into commercial lead opportunities for Sales. Ensure campaign messaging speaks authentically to fitness and wellness audiences and industry partners. Social Media & Content Strategy Direct Sound Off’s overarching content strategy across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube. Guide a rolling content calendar that leverages customer stories, industry trends, and key brand moments. Provide clear briefs and creative direction to the Marketing Coordinator, Copywriter, Graphic Designer, and Video Editor. Review channel performance regularly and make strategic adjustments without needing to manage daily publishing or community comments personally. Event Marketing & Digital Operations Oversee marketing plans and ticket promotion strategies for Sound Off events across Eventbrite, SweatPals, and company web channels. Set up repeatable promotional playbooks for the Marketing Coordinator to execute, monitoring ticket sales velocity and implementing corrective tactics when performance lags. Lead integrated digital campaigns in HubSpot, overseeing email workflows, segmentation, landing pages, and lead capture setups. Partner with RevOps to align campaign tracking, CRM data, and funnel performance. Provide high-level guidance for paid social campaigns (objectives, audience targeting, creative direction, and budget allocation). Brand Standards, Creative & Community Oversight Maintain visual and verbal brand standards, maintaining a high bar for creative quality. Set priorities for creator, influencer, and community outreach, helping turn organic engagement into commercial opportunities for Sales. Personally manage high-value strategic relationships or major partner co-promotions. Lead recurring marketing check-ins, establish documentation for core workflows, and keep leadership informed with concise, performance-driven reporting. What Success Looks Like First 30 Days: Complete an audit of current marketing workflows and channels. Build a centralized marketing production calendar and implement clear briefing and approval workflows. Assume full leadership over marketing prioritization and team check-ins. By 3 Months: Campaigns consistently launch on schedule with minimal leadership intervention. Event marketing follows a predictable, repeatable playbook, and leadership has clear, regular visibility into performance and ROI. Required Experience 5+ years of progressive marketing experience across integrated campaigns, digital strategy, social media, and event promotion. Demonstrated track record driving marketing campaigns, event activations, or community growth within the fitness, wellness, or experiential lifestyle sectors. Must be based in the Greater NYC area for hybrid collaboration, local event activations, and occasional travel to out-of-town trade shows, conferences, or major activations. Proven track record of managing marketing calendars, coordinating team members/freelancers, and running structured launch processes. Experience overseeing creative direction, brand messaging, and content development across multiple digital channels. Working proficiency with HubSpot and Klayvio for email marketing, segmentation, and lead management. Familiarity with social media platforms, paid ad concepts, and event management/ticketing tools (e.g., Eventbrite, SweatPals). Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities efficiently. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Marketing Technology & Automation HubSpot proficiency is required. Candidates should be comfortable working within HubSpot to support campaign execution, reporting, and marketing operations. Able to build and manage marketing emails, landing pages, forms, lists, campaigns, and basic reporting. Works closely with RevOps to ensure marketing initiatives are properly tracked, measured, and integrated into the customer journey.
