Part-Time Live Online Auction Sales Host Location: Lake in the Hills, IL (In Person – Local candidates only. Out-of-state applicants will not be considered.) Hertel’s is growing, and we’re looking for a confident, energetic communicator to join our live auction team. You’ll host live online auctions for collectors across the country, present products, engage with viewers, create excitement around each lot, and encourage competitive bidding while keeping the show moving. Schedule This is a part-time position, typically about three to four shifts per week and approximately 4.5–5.5 hours per shift. New hosts generally begin with daytime weekday and weekend shifts while learning the role. Regular weekend availability is required. Additional shifts may become available based on performance, reliability, availability, and business needs. We may also consider an alternate training schedule for an outstanding candidate. What You’ll Do Host live online auctions Present collectibles; product knowledge is not required, as we provide training Engage with viewers in real time Build excitement and encourage bidding Keep auctions moving with energy and professionalism What We’re Looking For We’re looking for someone who is comfortable on camera, energetic, personable, quick-thinking, sales-minded, highly reliable, and available for regular weekend shifts. Experience in sales, hospitality, bartending, retail, public speaking, broadcasting, live selling, or other customer-facing roles can transfer well, but previous hosting experience is not required.
