Our practice emphasizes domestic relations, estate planning, and estate litigation. Responsibilities: - Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and settlement agreements - Prepare estate planning documents (wills, trusts, powers of attorney, advance directives) - Assist with estate litigation matters - Communicate with clients with professionalism and discretion - Manage calendars, deadlines, and e-filing in Virginia courts - Keep cases and the office running smoothly — our attorneys are frequently out of the office (court, client meetings), so this role requires someone who works independently, takes initiative, and takes genuine pride in their work Qualifications: - Prior paralegal experience, preferably in Virginia domestic relations and/or estate planning and administration - Excellent writing, proofreading, and organizational skills - Self-directed, reliable, and proactive - Professional demeanor with clients, including those in difficult personal situations To apply: email your resume to Greg McCracken at grm@finemccracken.com with the subject line 'Paralegal'.
