Electrician Department: Operations / Maintenance Reports To: MEP Supervisor / Site Engineer / Project Manager Job Type: Full-Time Job Purpose The Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, testing, and repairing electrical wiring, fixtures, control systems, and apparatus across residential, commercial, and interior fit-out projects. Key Responsibilities - Installation & Cabling: Run conduits, pull cables, and set up main DBs (Distribution Boards), SMDBs, isolators, switches, sockets, and lighting fixtures according to approved MEP drawings. - Fit-Out Wiring: Execute rough-in wiring and final containment works for false ceilings, partition walls, and customized furniture/joinery features. - Testing & Inspection: Perform continuity, earth loop, and insulation testing on circuits using multimeter and insulation testers prior to power energization. - Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Diagnose electrical faults, repair blown fuses, replace damaged breakers, fix short circuits, and conduct preventive maintenance on building systems. - Safety & Compliance: Follow DEWA/FEWA/local electrical authority standards and strictly observe site lock-out/tag-out (LOTO) safety protocols. Requirements & Qualifications - Vocational diploma, ITI, or technical certificate in Electrical Engineering or Trades. - 3+ years of experience in building wiring, interior fit-out electrical works, or facility maintenance. - Ability to read and interpret single-line diagrams (SLDs), MEP schematics, and floor plans. - Hands-on proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing instruments. 2. Carpenter (Wood & Joinery) Department: Operations / Joinery Workshop Reports To: Workshop Foreman / Production Manager / Site Engineer Job Type: Full-Time Job Purpose The Carpenter specializes in working with timber, plywood, MDF, laminates, and veneers to fabricate, assemble, and install wooden structures, customized joinery, and interior furniture. Key Responsibilities - Fabrication & Joinery: Cut, shape, glue, and assemble high-quality custom furniture, cabinets, wardrobes, counters, wall paneling, doors, and door frames in the workshop or on-site. - Finishing Prep & Hardware Installation: Apply edge banding, laminates, and veneers; mount ironmongery including door locks, concealed hinges, drawer slides, and handles. - On-Site Installation: Fit joinery units on-site, ensuring all elements are level, plumb, securely anchored, and neatly aligned with adjacent finishes. - Drawing Interpretation: Read and execute works strictly according to shop drawings, architectural details, and material cutting lists to minimize waste. - Maintenance & Repair: Repair, adjust, or refinish existing wooden fixtures, doors, and millwork during building maintenance operations. Requirements & Qualifications - Trade certificate, ITI, or proven apprenticeship in Carpentry & Joinery. - 3+ years of experience in interior joinery workshops or fit-out projects. - Expertise in operating woodworking machinery (e.g., circular saws, routers, edge banders, planers). - Strong spatial awareness, physical stamina, and manual dexterity. 3. Gypsum Carpenter (Drywall & Ceiling Specialist) Department: Operations / Site Fit-Out Reports To: Site Foreman / Project Supervisor Job Type: Full-Time Job Purpose The Gypsum Carpenter specializes in erecting light-gauge steel framing systems and installing gypsum board partitions, false ceilings, bulkheads, and decorative drywall structures. Key Responsibilities - Framing & Track Installation: Layout and fix metal tracks, studs, channels, perimeter angles, and suspension grid systems securely to floors, walls, and slabs. - Gypsum Board Boarding: Cut and fix standard, moisture-resistant (MR), and fire-rated (FR) gypsum boards to framing using drywall screws, ensuring tight joints and accurate openings. - Ceiling Systems: Construct flat plasterboard ceilings, grid/tile ceilings, multi-level bulkheads, cove lighting channels, and access panels according to architectural layouts. - Joint Preparation: Apply mesh tape and joint compound (filler) over board seams and screw heads, readying surfaces for painters. - Site Coordination: Coordinate cutout locations with electricians and HVAC technicians for AC diffusers, light fixtures, and sprinklers. Requirements & Qualifications - Technical trade training or minimum 3 years of dedicated hands-on experience in drywall and ceiling installation. - Proficiency in handling laser levels, metal nibblers, screw guns, stud crimpers, and drywall tools. - Ability to work efficiently at heights using scaffolding, podium steps, or mobile towers. - Good understanding of architectural elevation drawings and ceiling reflected plans (RCP). 4. Painter (Interior & Exterior) Department: Operations / Finishing Reports To: Finishing Foreman / Site Supervisor Job Type: Full-Time Job Purpose The Painter is responsible for preparing, filling, priming, and applying decorative and protective paint finishes to walls, ceilings, woodwork, metal elements, and external surfaces. Key Responsibilities - Surface Preparation: Scrape, sand, wash, and patch drywall, plaster, wood, and masonry surfaces to ensure smooth, clean foundations prior to painting. - Filling & Putty Application: Apply joint compound, wall putty, wood filler, or primer coats to fix cracks, nail holes, and uneven surfaces. - Paint Application: Apply paints, enamels, varnishes, lacquers, and sealants using brushes, rollers, and airless spray equipment. - Specialized Finishes: Apply decorative paint finishes, stucco, textured coatings, or wood stains as specified in project designs. - Protection & Cleanliness: Mask and cover floors, windows, joinery, and hardware with plastic sheeting and tape to prevent overspray or paint drips. Requirements & Qualifications - Proven track record (2+ years) as a commercial, residential, or fit-out painter. - Knowledge of paint mixing techniques, color matching, surface primers, and chemical safety (MSDS). - Skilled in operating airless paint sprayers, sanding tools, and hand applicators. - High attention to aesthetic detail, surface smoothness, and neat color separation lines.
