The successful candidate will be responsible for production support, complex issue resolution, enhancements, change requests, and SAP projects while ensuring stable and efficient Finance business processes. Must-Have Skills & Experience 10+ years of hands-on experience in SAP FICO , with strong expertise in SAP Financial Accounting (FI). Good to strong experience in SAP Controlling (CO) and FI-CO integration. Proven experience working in an SAP AMS / Application Support environment . Strong experience in complex ticket resolution, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and problem management . Hands-on experience with financial reconciliations and investigation of accounting/data discrepancies. Strong understanding of end-to-end Finance business processes , including relevant FI and CO processes. Experience handling enhancements, change requests, and SAP projects , in addition to production support. Ability to independently analyze complex functional issues and provide sustainable and scalable solutions . Strong understanding of integration between SAP Finance and other SAP modules , such as MM, SD, and related business processes. Experience working with SAP HANA / SAP S/4HANA Finance environments. Ability to work effectively with business users, technical teams, and other functional teams to resolve issues and deliver solutions. Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Key Responsibilities Provide L2/L3 SAP FICO functional support in an AMS environment. Analyze and resolve complex incidents, service requests, and production issues within agreed SLAs. Perform root-cause analysis and implement permanent solutions to recurring issues. Investigate financial and accounting discrepancies and perform necessary reconciliation activities . Support FI and CO configuration, enhancements, change requests, and continuous improvements. Analyze impacts and dependencies across FI, CO, MM, SD, and other integrated SAP modules . Participate in SAP projects, releases, testing, deployments, and production cutover activities. Work closely with Finance business users to understand requirements and translate them into appropriate SAP solutions. Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with ABAP/technical teams when development is required. Support S/4HANA Finance / SAP HANA-related initiatives , as applicable. Identify opportunities to improve business processes, system stability, and support efficiency. Maintain proper documentation of solutions, known errors, configurations, and support procedures.
