Role Purpose The P2P Cash Disbursement Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing the global cash disbursement function within the Procure-to-Pay process. The role ensures timely, accurate, and compliant supplier, payroll, tax, and employee-related payments while maintaining strong internal controls, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency. The incumbent leads a team of payment specialists, manages banking and stakeholder interactions, supports Treasury and Accounting operations, and drives automation and continuous improvement initiatives. The role is critical in safeguarding company funds, reducing payment risks, and ensuring a strong service experience for suppliers and internal stakeholders. What will you do: Cash Disbursement Operations Manage end-to-end payment processing activities across multiple countries, entities, currencies, and banking partners. Ensure supplier, payroll, tax, and employee reimbursement payments are executed accurately and on time. Oversee payment run schedules and exceptional or urgent payment processes. Monitor payment exceptions, rejected payments, and returned funds, ensuring timely resolution. Coordinate with Treasury to ensure adequate funding for business-critical payments. Internal Controls & Compliance Maintain a robust payment control environment in accordance with company policies, audit requirements, and segregation of duties principles. Ensure compliance with sanctions screening, anti-fraud controls, banking regulations, and internal authorization matrices. Oversee supplier bank account verification processes and payment-related master data controls. Support internal and external audits and ensure corrective actions are implemented where required. Maintain compliance with SOX, financial control frameworks, and corporate governance standards where applicable. Team Leadership Lead, develop, and coach a global team of Cash Disbursement Specialists. Define team objectives, KPIs, service levels, and development plans. Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and customer service excellence. Build business continuity plans and ensure appropriate cross-training across the team. Banking & Stakeholder Management Maintain strong working relationships with Treasury, Accounts Payable, Master Data, Procurement, IT, Payroll, and external banking partners. Support bank account management activities and payment platform enhancements. Coordinate resolution of banking issues, investigations, payment recalls, and regulatory inquiries. Act as the escalation point for high-risk or high-value payment transactions. Process Improvement & Transformation Drive automation and standardization initiatives within the Cash Disbursement process. Identify opportunities to reduce manual intervention, improve controls, and enhance operational efficiency. Support ERP implementations, payment platform enhancements, and finance transformation projects. Participate in process redesign initiatives to strengthen the overall P2P operating model. Performance Monitoring & Reporting The role is expected to define, monitor, and report on operational performance indicators and control metrics, including but not limited to: Payment accuracy rate and on-time payment performance. Failed, rejected, and returned payment volumes. Urgent payment volumes and root cause trends. Bank fee management and operational cost indicators. Control effectiveness and audit readiness metrics. The manager prepares regular management reports highlighting risks, trends, operational performance, and improvement opportunities, and leads relevant operational review meetings. Qualifications: Experience 5+ years of experience in Finance Operations, Accounts Payable, Cash Disbursement, Treasury Operations, or Shared Services environments. Minimum 2 years of people leadership experience. Proven experience managing global payment operations in a multinational organization. Strong background in process improvement, controls, and finance transformation initiatives. Experience working with multiple currencies, banking partners, and international regulatory requirements. Education & Qualifications Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree (Ing.) is considered an advantage. Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA, CMA, or equivalent is preferred. Lean, Six Sigma, or Project Management certification is advantageous. WHAT WE OFFER We're all about diversity.
