Job type: Full-time, permanent Pay: $60,000.00 per year base, plus commission About the Role Westvac Industrial Ltd. is hiring a driven, full-time Outside Sales Representative to sell garage equipment for our Lift Division and municipal trucks & equipment for our Fleet Division. You’ll take over an established BC territory and customer base, sell equipment, parts, service, & accessories, and keep growing Westvac’s presence in the province. Our Lift Division includes automotive and heavy-duty lifts, alignment machines, wheel servicing and lubrication equipment, and vehicle damage detection cameras. Our Fleet Division includes hydrovacs, street sweepers, garbage trucks, tractors, sewer camera inspection systems, fire apparatus, and fire suppression equipment. This position is an incredible opportunity for high earnings, as previously each Division has had a dedicated sales rep. *As our BC sales operations grow, territories, customer assignments, or division responsibilities may be adjusted. We’re looking for someone comfortable in an evolving sales structure. What You’ll Do - Sell equipment, parts, service, and accessories from a range of manufacturers. - Grow existing accounts and prospect/cold call new customers across BC. - Prepare presentations, quotations, and submit regular sales forecasts. - Travel throughout the territory, often with equipment. - Demonstrate equipment, deliver sold units, and train customers on their use. - Provide equipment specifications for municipal tenders and work with administration on bid submissions. - Coordinate with our Parts and Service departments and build relationships with manufacturers and distributors. - Log sales activity in CDK, and submit weekly expense reports. What You Bring - 3+ years of equipment sales experience, including parts and consumables - Strong mechanical and technical aptitude - Strong communication, organizational, and quoting skills - Understanding of organizational and municipal buying processes - Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook - Valid driver’s licence with a clean driver’s abstract, and the ability to drive with a trailer - Willingness to travel throughout BC, including ELD use, and logging HOS (when applicable) - Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and accountable with company expenses Assets - Class 3 driver’s licence is a plus - Experience with CDK software is a plus What We Offer - Competitive base salary - Commission on equipment sales for Lift Division - Commission on equipment sales for Fleet Division - Open territory for equipment rentals anywhere in Western Canada. - Company vehicle provided during work hours, plus company laptop and cell phone - Comprehensive health benefits, including Life, AD&D, Extended Health, Dental, Vision, and Disability About Us: Since 1997, Westvac Industrial Ltd. has established itself as a leader in the municipal and industrial equipment industry.
