This role offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with internal teams, manage complex legal matters, and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive approach, exceptional legal expertise, and a passion for advocacy to help our organization navigate legal challenges confidently and efficiently. Responsibilities - Provide comprehensive legal counsel on estate planning, environmental law, immigration law, landlord-tenant law, family law, securities law, workers' compensation law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, personal injury law, employment law, and general & commercial litigation. - Draft, review, and negotiate contracts to protect organizational interests while fostering positive relationships with partners and clients. - Prepare for and participate in court depositions, trial preparations, and legal motions to advocate effectively on behalf of the organization. - Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case strategies and ensure compliance with procedural laws. - Manage legal case files with precision using case management systems; maintain detailed documentation of all legal activities. - Represent the organization in court proceedings, mediations, or negotiations to resolve disputes efficiently. - Communicate clearly with clients and internal stakeholders regarding case status, legal options, and strategic recommendations. Requirements - Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school; admission to the bar in relevant jurisdictions. - Proven experience in litigation including personal injury cases, employment disputes, and general civil litigation. - Strong knowledge of procedural law, statutory research methods, and legal drafting techniques. - Demonstrated expertise in negotiation tactics and advocacy skills during court depositions or settlement discussions. - Familiarity with legal research platforms such as LexisNexis and Westlaw; proficient in legal writing and motion preparation. - Experience handling complex cases involving estate planning, environmental issues, immigration matters, landlord-tenant disputes, family law cases, securities regulation, patent filings, tribal regulations, or workers’ compensation claims is highly desirable. - Excellent client communication skills with the ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly and professionally. - Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
