This is a market-facing business-development position that combines relationship development, practical program guidance, opportunity tracking, and regional field outreach. Successful Candidate: - Is comfortable initiating conversations with contractors, distributors, manufacturer representatives, customers, and other market actors and can establish rapport quickly. - Is a self-starter who is highly organized, dependable, responsive, and focused on measurable outcomes. - Takes ownership of assigned opportunities, follows commitments through to completion, and proactively communicates when work is delayed, blocked, or requires reassignment. - Is receptive to feedback, able to adapt to changing program priorities, and recognizes when technical or policy questions should be escalated to a subject-matter expert. Performance will be assessed using measures such as trade allies recruited and approved, first projects submitted, inactive trade allies reactivated, qualified opportunities advanced, projects and savings originating from outreach, timely CRM documentation, completion of follow-up commitments, quality of handoffs, and contributions to outreach campaigns, trainings, and events.
