We provide extended vehicle warranties to private customers, independent dealer groups and strategic partners across the UK. This is not simply a high-volume calling role. You will be the first important point of contact for prospects and customers, responsible for understanding each enquiry, gathering accurate information and creating properly qualified opportunities for our sales teams. You will suit this role if you communicate confidently, listen closely, use good judgement and take pride in balancing pace with quality. What you will be responsible for Speaking with customers across different lead sources and customer journeys. Building rapport quickly and creating a professional, positive first impression. Using effective questions and active listening to understand the customer’s circumstances and interest. Confirming relevant customer and vehicle information accurately. Assessing whether an enquiry meets the agreed qualification criteria. Providing the product specialist / sales adviser with a clear, accurate and useful handover. Managing callbacks and follow-up activity punctually and consistently. Recording accurate notes, outcomes and customer information in company systems. Handling initial questions and objections confidently, without overselling. Working to agreed quality, productivity and conversion measures. Following GDPR, compliance requirements and all relevant company processes. Using coaching, call feedback and performance data to improve your results. Development Responding positively to coaching and applying feedback. What we are looking for Essential Confident, clear and professional telephone communication. Strong questioning and listening skills. The ability to build rapport with a wide range of customers. Good judgement and attention to detail. A customer-focused approach that is helpful rather than pushy. Comfort working to clear quality and performance measures. Resilience and consistency in a fast-paced environment. Good organisation, including reliable callback and follow-up management. A coachable attitude and willingness to take ownership of your development. The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Desirable Experience in telephone-based sales, lead generation, appointment setting or customer service. Experience handling warm customer enquiries or working in a target-led environment. Training and development A structured induction into Warrantywise, our customers and our products. Training in customer conversations, qualification, systems and compliance. Regular call listening, coaching and one-to-one development. Clear visibility of your performance and earnings. Pay and benefits Basic salary of £24,785.00 plus OTE 22 days’ holiday plus bank holidays. One month unpaid sabbatical after five years’ service. Company pension.
