You'll own our Oracle EPM Cloud Planning environment end to end: the annual budget cycle, rolling forecasts, driver-based models, and the data flows that feed them. Just as importantly, you'll sit with Finance, ask the right questions, and translate what they say into a design that holds up. A lot of this job is conversation : Design workshops, walkthroughs, UAT sessions, and explaining a calculation to someone who doesn't write Groovy. If you like being the bridge between the finance team and the system, this is that job. What you'll do: Design, build, and maintain Oracle EPM Cloud Planning applications (EPBCS/PBCS) across modules such as Financials, Workforce, Capital, and Projects Map and improve the end-to-end planning process - budget, forecast, long-range plan and make sure the application supports the calendar, not the other way around Build and tune business rules, Groovy calculations, forms, dashboards, and Smart View reports Own data integration between EPM and source systems (Data Management / Data Integration, EPM Automate, flat-file and ERP feeds) Manage metadata, hierarchies, security, and the monthly and annual maintenance cycle Run requirements-gathering and design sessions with FP&A and business owners, and document decisions clearly enough that someone else can follow them Lead UAT, write the training material, and support planners through each cycle Troubleshoot when a number doesn't tie and explain the root cause in plain English What success looks like: First 90 days: you can walk the full planning process front to back, know where the data comes from, and have a list of the top friction points First 6 months: you've shipped at least one meaningful improvement to a planning cycle and Finance comes to you directly instead of filing a ticket First year: the forecast cycle runs faster and with fewer manual touches than it does today What you need: 4+ years working hands-on with Oracle EPM Cloud Planning (EPBCS or PBCS). Real working knowledge of the corporate planning and budgeting process, driver-based planning, forecast cycles, variance analysis, how a budget gets built and approved. Experience with business rules and Calculation Manager; comfort with Groovy scripting. Data integration experience (Data Management / Data Integration, EPM Automate) Smart View and EPM reporting Strong written and verbal communication - you'll be presenting to Finance leadership, running workshops, and writing documentation. This is a requirement, not a nice-to-have. Able to work core hours overlapping Nice to have Exposure to FCCS, ARCS, EDMCS, or Narrative Reporting Background in FP&A, accounting, or a finance degree Experience through at least one full implementation, from design to go-live Experience with Oracle Fusion, SAP, NetSuite, Workday Location and work authorization This role is fully remote within the United States.
