Operations Supervisor/Manager
Job Description: Full-time permanent positions have become available for a Operations Assistant/Transport Supervisor , based in Stone. This is an opportunity to join a local family run general haulage firm committed to offering excellent service to all clients and looking to expand. We are members of and general pallet network and the national Hazardous goods pallet Network. We run a fleet of general haulage rigids and Artics nationally and locally servicing a varied client base, both ADR and non ADR through TPN and the Hazchem network. The Role: · Ensuring drivers are using the correct EPOD device and following procedures · Completing all necessary paperwork ensuring accuracy standard is maintained and KPI's are adhered to · Uploading all paperwork to our online system . Good Knowledge of the local geography . Be able to use own initiative · Be compliant with health and safety regulations · Must be punctual. . Confident using the phone dealing with Customer, the public and depots. . Must be IT literate and have a good knowledge of Excel . Must be able to work as part of a team or on your own Required: · Be committed to provide excellent customer service · Be reliable, flexible and hard-working (one Saturday in 4) · Be honest and trustworthy · Ability to work in a team or on own initiative In return we offer a competitive salary, 28 days holiday (inc bank holidays) Working hours 05.00-14.00 or 11.00-20.00 Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year Benefits: Company events Company pension Free parking Work Location: In person
