We are a highways, civil engineering and road surfacing contractor with our own yard, fleet and plant, working for councils and private clients on resurfacing, drop crossings, car parks, Section 278 works and same-day emergency repairs. Key Responsibilities Plan and organise jobs once quoted and accepted. Measure up and calculate tonnages and material quantities. Order materials and arrange plant, deliveries and gangs. Supervise surfacing operations across multiple sites. Check workmanship, levels, falls, edges and finish. Keep job records, photos and progress up to date in our workflow app. Make sure RAMS, toolbox talks and site H&S requirements are followed. Report delays, extra costs and issues to the Director early. Essential Requirements Proven experience as a Surfacing Supervisor, Foreman or Ganger. Strong knowledge of surfacing materials, laying techniques and quality standards. Experience organising gangs and more than one job at a time. Confident measuring areas and working out quantities. CSCS Supervisor/Manager Card. SSSTS or SMSTS. Full UK Driving Licence. Comfortable using a phone or tablet for job records. Desirable : NRSWA Supervisor, First Aid, CPCS/NPORS, and experience across highways, local authority, commercial and residential work. What We Offer Competitive salary.
