Operations Supervisor
Role Purpose: Supervise end-to-end warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, and dispatching. Manage staffing and schedules, achieve KPIs, ensure timely reporting, maintain inventory availability, and support employee training and development. Key Responsibilities: Warehouse Operations & Safety: Ensure safe, compliant, and efficient warehouse operations in coordination with EHS and other departments. Inventory & Storage: Manage proper storage, space utilization, product preservation, FEFO/FIFO compliance, inventory accuracy, and annual/cycle counts. Product Disposal: Manage non-conforming and damaged products, including documentation, approvals, disposal scheduling, and inventory updates. Staff Management: Plan staffing and workload, coach and evaluate employees, address performance issues, and identify training and development needs. Reporting & KPI Management: Monitor and report KPI performance, attend operational meetings, investigate issues, and recommend process improvements. Billing & Documentation: Handle monthly billing for assigned clients and ensure accurate and timely operational documentation. Cross-functional Coordination: Collaborate with Inventory, QA, Transportation, Procurement, Accounting, Facility, and other departments to resolve issues and improve processes. Authorities: Recommend disciplinary actions for warehouse staff. Raise purchase requisitions and facility job orders with proper approval. Sign tally forms, gate passes, and operational documents. Reject non-compliant deliveries when QA/Transportation personnel are unavailable. Qualifications: Bachelor’s/College degree in a related field. Minimum 2 years of relevant experience or equivalent education and experience. Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and preferably ERP/WMS systems. Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills. Customer-service oriented and systematic in managing tasks. Overall: The position is responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and accurate warehouse operations while managing people, inventory, compliance, reporting, and continuous process improvement to meet or exceed operational KPIs.
