# Operations & Reporting Analyst **Ecom Asia Pacific** · Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: 2 дня назад* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role Purpose of the Role ECOM is a soft commodity trading house. We are replacing the trading and operations systems used across our commodities with a single CTRM (Commodity Trading and Risk Management) system, iRely, built specifically for ECOM. We're rolling it out commodity by commodity and operation by operation, and each needs reporting that lets it monitor contracts, stock, shipments, and exposure from day one. We are building a team to build those reports. Working alongside our existing Vietnam-based coffee reporting team, you will be dedicated to iRely data: understanding what each operation needs to see, designing the Power BI reports that meet those needs in a standardized format, testing them against the system as it goes live, and maintaining them as iRely evolves and more operations adopt it. This role is not a pure BI role and not a pure operational role. You will need to understand how an origin runs its business as well as how to model its data in Power BI. This role sits at the intersection of operational reporting and data analytics for the Global Coffee Operations team. The successful candidate will own the design, automation, and delivery of reporting that gives global management and local business teams real-time visibility into operational performance and commercial exposure across the coffee supply chain. A strong emphasis is placed on Power BI dashboard development and analytical rigor, with the role expected to modernize existing Excel-based reporting into scalable, self-service BI solutions while also supporting broader operational reviews and cross-functional coordination across PC origins. Key Responsibilities Reporting, Data & Analysis Gather and understand the local operations team reporting requirements as they move to our new CTRM to determine what they need to monitor day, month-end, and year-end. Consolidate inputs from multiple business units and origins from the new CTRM system, and counterparty information through Microsoft CRM (Datalake hosted on Microsoft Fabrics) to produce common set of global reports with limited set of local variations, with consistent, accurate, and meaningful data outputs. Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards and data models that track local and global operational performance, commercial activity, and exposure across commodities using data from our CTRM system iRely. Using operational knowledge, proactively test for and identify data discrepancies, inconsistencies, or gaps in reporting logic. Maintain and compile structured governance documentation on data pipelines, definition, and refresh logic so the reporting can be maintained by others. Operational Support Support Global operations teams by gathering and structuring relevant operational data Assist with operational reviews, monitoring of valuations, yields, and other control points along the supply chain for various operations. Support ad hoc reporting or data-related requests from operations and other support functions, such as compliance and sustainability. Assist the counterparty creation process for all commodities in a single CRM. Digitalization & Process Improvement: Support the team in identifying process gaps in existing exporting workflows and SOPs and propose automation-based solutions to reduce manual work Maintain and continuously improve reporting templates and dashboards, ensuring they remain efficient, accurate, and user-friendly Support the rollout and adoption of new reporting tools and systems across teams (Power Automate, Power BI, AI-based tools and processes) Cross-Team Coordination: Act as a point of contact for reporting and data-related queries between origin teams and the global operations function. Collaborate with stakeholders across different time zones, aligning global reporting standards with local realities. Operational Support: Support Global operations teams by gathering and structuring relevant operational data Assist with operational reviews, monitoring of valuations, yields, and undelivered open purchases/sales across PCs. Support ad hoc reporting or data-related requests from operations and other support functions, such as compliance and sustainability. Manage the counterparty creation process for all commodities in a single CRM. Required Skills and Qualifications Degree in Business, Economics, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, or a related field. 3–4 years of experience in reporting, operations, business intelligence, or analytical roles. Strong, hands-on Power BI experience is a must: building dashboards, data modeling, DAX measures, Power Query/ETL, and connecting to multiple data sources. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data trends, spot anomalies, and translate numbers into clear operational insight. Strong proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, basic automation/macros a plus). Knowledge in the soft commodity trading business is a strong plus, with willingness to learn about the trading environment. Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Proactive and self-directed mindset, comfortable working independently with managers in other time zones. Willingness to travel to support ad hoc operational project implementation and improve operational knowledge. What Success Looks Like Timely, accurate, and largely automated reporting with minimal manual intervention. Power BI dashboards are actively adopted by management and cross-functional teams as the primary source of operational visibility. Fast identification and resolution of data discrepancies before they reach management reporting. Demonstration of proactivity and autonomous work.
