# OPERATIONS & PROCESS SUPERVISOR **Colour Alliance Inc.** · Bolton, ON L7E 5A6 · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: вчера* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role OPERATIONS & PROCESS SUPERVISOR Bolton, Ontario | $60,000 – $85,000/year | Full-Time Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, or a University/College degree or diploma (engineering, industrial technology, or related field is an asset). About the Company We are an established and growing paint distributor and applicator serving the window & door industry, located in Bolton, Ontario. We are looking for a motivated, hands-on operations leader to oversee our day-to-day operations and act as our go-to person on production process and quality — someone who can run a team, manage the numbers, and troubleshoot a batch issue on the floor when it comes up. The Role The Operations & Process Supervisor coordinates and supervises daily operations — production, distribution, scheduling, inventory, and customer requirements — while also owning the technical/process side of the business: batch consistency, formulation troubleshooting, and quality control across our paint and coatings production. Key Responsibilities – Operations & Leadership Supervise and coordinate daily operations and workflow. Lead, support, and motivate employees to achieve operational goals. Schedule and coordinate production, orders, deliveries, and customer requirements. Work closely with customers, suppliers, production staff, and management. Responsible for hiring, training, employee development, and performance management. Prepare operational reports and provide regular updates to management. Key Responsibilities – Process & Quality Monitor and troubleshoot production processes to ensure batch-to-batch consistency (viscosity, cure, adhesion, colour match). Investigate and resolve quality issues — off-shade batches, defects, customer complaints — and identify root causes. Develop and maintain process documentation, SOPs, and work instructions for production staff. Coordinate inventory levels, materials, supplies, and purchasing requirements. Ensure company procedures, safety standards, and quality requirements are followed. Identify process improvements to increase efficiency, throughput, and profitability. Monitor equipment, facility, and maintenance requirements. Financial & Administrative Responsibilities Monitor operating expenses and departmental spending. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning. Identify opportunities to control costs and improve margins. Qualifications & Experience Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience OR a University/College degree or diploma. Experience in operations, manufacturing, distribution, or a related environment. Background in coatings, paint, chemical manufacturing, or a similar process-driven production environment is strongly preferred. Working knowledge of production/process fundamentals (batch consistency, formulation basics, troubleshooting defects) — engineering or industrial technology education is an asset, not a requirement. Strong leadership and people-management skills. A solid understanding of financial and accounting principles. Experience with budgeting, expenses, invoicing, reporting, or financial administration. Strong Microsoft Excel and computer skills. Excellent organizational and time-management abilities. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. A hands-on, practical approach to managing operations. Experience in the Window & Door Industry, Paint Industry, Manufacturing, or Distribution is an asset.
