Operations Manager – Wire Payments
HIRING: Operations Manager – Wire Payments We are looking for Operations Manager – Wire Payments to lead and oversee complex payment operations, manage operational risk, and ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements. The role will provide leadership to specialized Operations teams while driving process improvements, risk management, service quality, and people development. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage specialized Operations and payment processing teams Oversee day-to-day operations while ensuring compliance with policies, controls, and regulatory requirements Manage operational risk and identify opportunities to strengthen processes and controls Develop strategies to improve staffing, productivity, and operational performance Partner with internal stakeholders and business teams to resolve operational issues Monitor team performance and provide coaching, feedback, and development Make decisions related to resources, objectives, and operational priorities Develop and implement policies and procedures within the assigned function Manage people and financial resources to achieve business objectives Identify and drive process improvement and transition/migration initiatives Collaborate with stakeholders and senior management to resolve complex operational issues Support talent development, hiring, and succession planning Qualifications Required: At least 5 years of Operations experience At least 2 years of leadership/management experience Strong people management and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, or related field Extensive experience in Banking Operations Experience in Wire Transfer / Payment Processing Knowledge of: International Funds Transfer SWIFT Federal Reserve Wire Transfer Payments Foreign Exchange Payments FEDWIRE CHIPS SWIFT message types Experience managing operational risk and internal controls Experience in shared services / BPO / global operations Experience in transition, migration, or process implementation Proven ability to analyze operational issues and develop effective solutions What We're Looking For We're looking for an experienced Operations leader who can effectively manage people and processes while maintaining a strong risk and controls mindset . The ideal candidate has experience in banking or financial services operations, particularly in payments or wire transfer processing , and is comfortable working with multiple stakeholders in a complex environment.
