Key Responsibilities - Manage and oversee the overall operations of steel structure projects from mobilization through completion and handover. - Lead project teams including Project Managers, Site Engineers, Supervisors, QA/QC, HSE, and subcontractors. - Plan and monitor project execution, manpower, equipment, materials, and resources. - Coordinate with clients, consultants, main contractors, suppliers, and subcontractors. - Ensure structural steel works are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project schedules. - Oversee steel erection, fabrication, welding, bolting, cladding, roofing, and related structural works. - Monitor project progress, productivity, costs, variations, and overall profitability. - Identify project risks, delays, and operational issues and implement corrective actions. - Ensure compliance with HSE, QA/QC, and applicable construction standards. - Review project performance and provide regular operational reports to senior management. - Support commercial and procurement teams regarding materials, subcontractors, variations, and project requirements. - Ensure timely project completion, testing, inspection, and handover. - Develop strong relationships with clients and ensure high customer satisfaction. Requirements 10–15 years of experience in construction/contracting, with strong experience in structural steel projects. Proven experience in a senior Operations Manager / Projects Manager role. Strong knowledge of steel fabrication, erection, welding, bolting, and site execution. Experience managing multiple projects and large multidisciplinary teams. Strong understanding of project planning, budgeting, contracts, and cost control. Excellent leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Engineering degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering preferred. Fluent Arabic speaker with strong English communication skills. UAE/GCC contracting experience is highly preferred.
