About Us

WeMoveWell is a new moving and relocation division of Flying Carpet Express, an established UAE freight forwarding and logistics company operating since 1985.

We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Operations Manager to lead and develop our moving services in Dubai.

The ideal candidate must have direct experience in the moving and relocation industry and be confident managing the entire moving process, from initial customer surveys and quotations to the successful completion of each move.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site pre-move surveys for residential and commercial relocations.
• Assess moving requirements, including volume, manpower, packing materials, equipment, and transportation.
• Prepare accurate moving quotations and cost estimates.
• Plan, schedule, and supervise daily moving operations.
• Manage moving crews, drivers, and packing teams to ensure efficient execution.
• Oversee packing, loading, transportation, unloading, and furniture installation.
• Coordinate with customers before, during, and after their moves.
• Ensure high standards of customer service, safety, and property protection.
• Develop and implement operational procedures (SOPs) and quality standards.
• Manage equipment, packing materials, vehicles, and operational resources.
• Monitor operational costs, productivity, and job profitability.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and service quality.
• Support the recruitment, training, and development of moving crews.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of direct experience in the moving and relocation industry, preferably in the UAE.
• Proven experience conducting pre-move surveys and preparing quotations.
• Strong knowledge of residential and commercial moving procedures.
• Experience supervising moving crews, drivers, and packing teams.
• Good understanding of packing materials, moving equipment, and transportation requirements.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple moving projects simultaneously.
• Good command of English.
• Valid UAE driving licence preferred.

Important: Previous hands-on experience in the moving and relocation industry is essential. General logistics or freight forwarding experience alone is not sufficient.
