We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager / Operations Leader who can help manage our growing operation and develop into our future Head of Operations . This is not simply a dispatch position. We need a hands-on leader who understands people, labor, projects, logistics, quality, cost, and capacity and can create predictable execution as the company grows. The Role The Operations Manager is responsible for helping ensure Pack N’ Go delivers what we promise our customers: Safely. On time. Damage-free. Within budget. You will help lead operations across three primary areas: Service Operations — moving crews, scheduling, labor, fleet/equipment, quality, and daily execution. Projects / RDI / Student Housing — project planning, staffing, timelines, resources, budgets, installations, and client commitments. Warehouse & Logistics — receiving, inventory, storage, staging, releases, and warehouse readiness. The goal is not for you to personally do every operational task. Your job is to lead the people responsible for the work, maintain visibility, solve problems, and hold the operation accountable. Key Responsibilities Lead, manage, and hold Operations team members accountable Oversee daily field and service operations Coordinate labor, crews, trucks, equipment, and project resources Maintain operational readiness for current and upcoming work Maintain 30-, 60-, and 90-day visibility into staffing, capacity, projects, fleet, equipment, warehouse, and other operational needs Monitor active RDI, installation, commercial, and student housing projects Support warehouse and logistics operations Monitor labor productivity and operating costs Maintain quality and customer-service standards Support fleet, equipment, safety, and compliance readiness Identify operational risks before they become emergencies Resolve customer and operational escalations Develop supervisors and emerging leaders Improve processes and eliminate recurring operational problems Support peak-season and large-project planning Communicate operational performance, risks, and needs to leadership How We Operate Pack N’ Go uses a management system influenced by EOS / Traction . Our leaders operate with: Clear accountability Scorecards Rocks Structured meetings IDS problem solving Documented processes Right Person / Right Seat EOS experience is a plus, but it is not required. You must be willing to learn and operate within a structured accountability system. We expect our Operations Manager to report reality, surface problems early, assign ownership, and solve root issues rather than repeatedly putting out the same fires. Forward Planning Is Important We are specifically looking for someone who can manage today while preparing for tomorrow . You should be capable of looking 30, 60, and 90 days ahead and asking: Do we have enough people? Do we have the right leadership? Do we have enough trucks and equipment? Do upcoming projects have the resources they require? Do we have enough warehouse capacity? Where are the risks? What needs to happen now so it does not become an emergency later? This forward-looking mindset is particularly important for large projects and student housing peak seasons. What We're Looking For Strong candidates will have operations-management experience in a labor-intensive business such as: Moving, logistics, transportation, warehousing, FF&E, installation, construction, restoration, multifamily, student housing, field services, or a similar industry. We prefer experience with: Managing frontline employees and supervisors Labor hiring, scheduling and workforce planning Managing multiple jobs or projects Labor productivity and cost control Project management Fleet/equipment Warehousing or inventory Safety and compliance KPIs and performance management Process improvement Customer escalations Coaching and accountability Most importantly, you should be someone who thinks ahead, develops people, understands numbers, communicates clearly, and takes ownership. First 90 Days & Compensation Your first 90 days are a structured onboarding and certification period . First 90 Days — $20/hour You will learn our operation, people, services, systems, EOS/Traction management approach, and expectations while progressively assuming operational responsibility. The progression is: 30 Days — Learn the operation 60 Days — Begin owning the operating system 90 Days — Demonstrate operational control Throughout the onboarding period, you will also be expected to progressively establish and maintain 30/60/90-day operational readiness . Following Successful 90-Day Certification — $22–$25/hour Post-certification compensation will be based on demonstrated capability, performance, leadership, and responsibility. Successful certification is based on performance—not simply completing 90 calendar days. This is not a desk-only position . The Operations Manager should expect to spend time with employees, in the warehouse, in the field, and at project sites as necessary.
