Operations Manager (drainage and plumbing)
Job Title: Operations Manager Location: Bishops Stortford Job Type: Full-Time About Us: We are a growing company in the plumbing and drainage sector, committed to delivering excellent service to our clients and supporting the development of our team. We are now looking for a driven and organised Operations Manager to help take the business to the next level. The Opportunity: This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to play a key role in the growth of the company. The right candidate will have room to progress into more senior positions as the business expands. We’re looking for someone who’s proactive, professional, and ready to get stuck in. Key Responsibilities: Overseeing daily operations and ensuring jobs are scheduled and delivered efficiently Communicating effectively with engineers and clients to ensure smooth coordination Producing CCTV reports using WinCan and assisting with the preparation of quotes Using computer systems to manage schedules, reports, and general admin tasks Maintaining high levels of organisation and ensuring projects are delivered on time Supporting the team and management with operational planning and execution Requirements: Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Confident using computers and digital systems Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Working knowledge of plumbing and drainage (able to prepare accurate quotations) Experience using WinCan and producing CCTV reports (must have) Ability to manage scheduling and logistics for multiple jobs and engineers A proactive mindset and the drive to contribute to company growth What We Offer: A supportive and dynamic working environment Clear opportunities for progression and long-term career growth Competitive pay based on experience The chance to make a meaningful impact in a growing business To Apply: Please submit your CV and a brief cover letter explaining why you’re the right fit for this role.
