Operations Manager – Commercial Cleaning (Melbourne) Are you an experienced cleaning operations leader who can run multiple sites, lead teams and keep quality consistently high? Speckless Facility Services is a fast-growing, ISO-certified commercial cleaning company, and we're looking for a hands-on Operations Manager to lead the delivery of our services across Melbourne. Please note: This role is open to applicants with experience managing commercial cleaning operations in Australia. About us Speckless Facility Services is a Melbourne-based commercial cleaning and facility management company. We're triple ISO certified (9001 Quality, 14001 Environmental, 45001 Health & Safety) and a proud member of the BSCAA. We work with commercial, retail and institutional clients across Victoria, delivering high-quality cleaning backed by strong systems and trained staff. The role Reporting to the General Manager, you'll own the day-to-day running of our cleaning operations — making sure every site is properly staffed, every client is happy, and every job is done to standard, safely and on time. What you'll be doing Oversee daily cleaning operations across all client sites, ensuring services are delivered to standard and on schedule Roster, schedule and coordinate cleaners, supervisors and subcontractors across multiple sites Recruit, onboard, train and manage cleaning staff and contractors Run regular site inspections and quality audits, and act quickly on any issues Manage client relationships and resolve service escalations and complaints professionally Mobilise new contracts — set up sites, equipment, consumables and schedules Attend site inspections for quoting and support the business development team Manage stock, equipment and consumables, and keep labour costs on budget Ensure full WHS/OHS compliance on every site (SWMS, safe work practices, incident reporting) Report to the General Manager on performance, staffing and site quality What you'll bring Experience managing commercial cleaning operations in Australia (essential) Proven team leadership and people-management skills Strong rostering, scheduling and coordination ability across multiple sites Solid knowledge of cleaning standards, chemicals, equipment and WHS requirements Excellent organisation and problem-solving — you stay calm and fix things fast Confident communicator who can manage both staff and clients Valid Australian driver's licence and a reliable vehicle (this is a field-based role) A current Police Check (or willingness to obtain one) Comfortable with scheduling apps and CRM/reporting tools Nice to have Experience in facilities management, familiarity with ISO-certified quality systems, and knowledge of Melbourne's commercial property landscape.
