Position Summary The Operations Manager oversees daily operations of multiple sites and manages the financial performance of designated medical practices to ensure quality clinical services, exceptional patient care, and effective practice development. This position provides direct supervision to office supervisors and is responsible for recruiting, developing, and retaining high-performing team members at assigned sites. Reporting to the Executive Director of Operations and working in concert with other managers, the Operations Manager must have a proven history in building collaborative relationships at all organizational levels and leveraging statistical data to improve practice productivity and efficiency. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, as the role involves maintaining and creating policies and procedures. Job Type: Full time Duties and Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of assigned sites, ensuring adherence to company policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance. Enhance operational effectiveness with a focus on cost containment and providing high-quality patient care. Collaborate with Director of Finance and Executive Director of Operations to develop, review, and monitor practice budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Assist the Director of Operations in establishing new practices and services. Identify problems that could impact patient care quality or the work environment and address them proactively. Promote positive relations across departments, and the community. Directly manage and oversee employee and supervisor schedules for all departments, including time off, working hours, and overtime, to ensure adequate coverage and compliance with company policies. Coordinate and conduct employee performance evaluations and address disciplinary matters promptly, with a focus and commitment to internal development of personnel. Evaluate existing policies and procedures and implement changes, as necessary. Support the organization's mission, goals, and objectives. Adherent to ethical business conduct standards. Participate in committees, meetings, and in-service training sessions. Demonstrate initiative and dependability. Exercise sound judgment in all aspects of the role. Project a professional and positive image. Engage in continuing education and professional development activities. Share knowledge with colleagues and team members. Actively welcome suggestions and recommendations for improvement. Qualifications Required: 5+ years of multi-site medical practice management experience. Required: Bachelor’s in Business or Health Care Administration. Understanding of, and experience with medical office computer applications such as scheduling, billing, reporting, and electronic medical records. Proficient with Office suite applications, including advanced features of Word (mail merge, formatting) and Excel (pivot tables, formulas). Demonstrated ability to manage staff effectively. Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities. Experience with preparing comprehensive reports and summaries. Ability to analyze and interpret data for solution-oriented action. Effective leadership skills. High level of initiative, judgment, and discretion. Work Location (Sussex, Morris, Warren, Pike Counties) This position does not offer remote work. Requires 50% or more local travel. Expected Hours Normal business hours, with nights and weekends as needed.
