We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to provide leadership and oversight for daily practice operations and support our continued growth. Position Summary The Operations Manager is responsible for the overall operational performance of OPA Ortho's clinics and support functions. This individual will oversee administrative and clinical support operations, optimize workflows, drive employee engagement, ensure operational efficiency, and support strategic initiatives. The Operations Manager partners closely with physicians, clinical leadership, and executive leadership to ensure exceptional patient experiences and organizational success. Essential Responsibilities Operations Leadership Manage day-to-day operations of a high-volume orthopedic and sports medicine practice. Ensure efficient workflows across patient services, and clinical support functions. Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and best practices. Monitor clinic productivity, patient access, and operational performance metrics. Lead initiatives focused on continuous process improvement and operational excellence. Staff Management & Development Recruit, onboard, supervise, and mentor administrative and clinical support staff. Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management for team members. Foster a collaborative, patient-centered culture focused on accountability and service excellence. Conduct regular staff meetings, performance evaluations, and development planning. Financial & Business Operations Assist with budget preparation, expense management, and resource allocation. Monitor operational costs and identify opportunities for increased efficiency and revenue enhancement. Oversee supply management, vendor relationships, and facility operations. Analyze operational data and prepare reports for leadership review. Patient Experience Ensure delivery of exceptional customer service throughout the patient journey. Address and resolve patient concerns in a timely and professional manner. Collaborate with clinical leaders to improve patient satisfaction and access to care. Compliance & Quality Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, CMS guidelines, and Washington State regulatory requirements. Maintain policies supporting patient safety, risk management, and quality improvement initiatives. Participate in accreditation readiness and regulatory audits as applicable. Strategic Initiatives Support practice growth, new service offerings, and operational expansion projects. Lead change management efforts and implement organizational initiatives. Partner with leadership on strategic planning and performance improvement objectives. Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Management, or related field. Minimum 3-5 years of healthcare operations or medical practice management experience. Demonstrated experience leading diverse teams in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Strong financial, operational, and analytical skills. Experience managing budgets, staffing, and workflow optimization. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR/EMR), practice management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite. Preferred Experience in orthopedic, sports medicine, ambulatory care, or specialty practice settings. Master's degree in Healthcare Administration (MHA), Business Administration (MBA), or related field. Multi-site healthcare operations experience. Lean, Six Sigma, or process improvement certification.
