About MegaPhase MegaPhase is a 28-year-old, privately held manufacturer of RF/microwave cable assemblies, passive components, and other interconnect solutions, headquartered in Stroudsburg, PA, with a sister manufacturing operation in Costa Rica. We design and build mission-critical products specifically for the defense, space, and telecom markets. MegaPhase holds AS9100D and ISO-9001:2015 certifications, reflecting the precision and compliance standards our customers depend on. We are in a period of significant, sustained growth, adding a second production shift to meet rising customer demand. This is a newly created role, built specifically to bring structure and unified leadership to a growing, two-shift operation. The Opportunity MegaPhase is hiring an Operations Manager to take day-to-day ownership of our Stroudsburg manufacturing operation. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who has run a manufacturing plant floor before and knows how to bring managers and supervisors into alignment, build consistency across shifts, and turn growth into smooth, repeatable execution. You'll be the single point of operational leadership across both shifts — pulling together production managers, supervisors, and support functions so they're working from the same priorities, the same standards, and the same playbook. You'll play a critical role in standing up and stabilizing our new second shift, and your success will directly free up our VP of Operations to focus on strategic priorities rather than day-to-day floor management. What You'll Do Own daily manufacturing operations across both shifts, ensuring consistent output, quality, and on-time delivery Unify and lead our managers and supervisors — align priorities, standardize processes, and ensure clear, consistent communication across shift handoffs Lead the successful stand-up and stabilization of second-shift operations, including staffing, training, and process consistency with first shift Partner with Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain to reduce lead times and resolve production bottlenecks Drive a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement on the shop floor Manage capacity planning and workforce scheduling across a 9/80 work schedule Serve as the primary operational escalation point, resolving issues before they require VP involvement Support maintenance of AS9100 and ISO 9001compliance on the production floor Report on operational KPIs (throughput, lead time, quality yield, productivity, on-time delivery, etc.) to executive leadership What You Bring 8-10 years of progressive manufacturing operations leadership, including direct experience running a multi-shift plant floor Proven ability to lead through other leaders — building alignment among managers and supervisors, not just individual contributors Experience standing up or stabilizing a new shift or significant operational expansion is a strong plus Aerospace, defense, or other regulated/certified manufacturing environment (AS9100, ISO-9001, ITAR) strongly preferred Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or related field required Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident) due to export control (ITAR) requirements Strong working knowledge of lean manufacturing, production scheduling, and quality systems Excellent communication skills with the presence to lead cross-functional teams and represent operations to executive leadership Schedule MegaPhase operates on a 9/80 work schedule (every other Friday off). This role oversees both: First Shift: 5:30 AM – 2:30 PM Second Shift: 3:00 PM – Midnight (Second shift is under development). The Operations Manager role requires flexibility to be present across both shifts as needed, particularly during second-shift ramp-up. Expected work hours would start with the first shift and transition to an overlapping role from approximately 10am-7pm, although exact work hours are flexible. Compensation & Benefits Base salary: $140,000 – $160,000 , commensurate with experience Relocation Expense Full benefits including health (available Day One), dental, vision, 401(k) with match, PTO, life, and disability insurance.
