Operations Manager
Position Summary Coordinate the recruitment, hiring and training of staff related to client services for Life Care At Home; Manage scheduling of Home Service Workers; Exemplify and promote service excellence and quality by managing operations in an efficient and effective manner. Support all areas of the business office operations as needed. Salary Range: $55,000 - 65,000 Benefits Include access to: Health, dental and vision coverage Generous paid time off Paid Holidays 401k with company match Company paid life insurance Essential Duties and Responsibilities Human Capital Retention and Training Recruit, interview, and coordinate hiring of staff to meet the needs of clients Coordinate and administer orientation and training programs for all company staff Ensure compliance with all Human Resources documentation and coordinate hiring paperwork with Human Resources department Provide communication to all staff regarding employment information, policies and procedures, business standards, employee benefits and all areas related to human capital Monitor and report known variances to any business standards of excellence to the Administrator Client Staffing and Service Coordination Promote quality and excellence standards for client services Monitor systems to assure staff compliance with schedules and verify schedule compliance Report variations of schedule compliance to Management Prepare necessary documentation for Management as requested Transportation Services Coordination Coordinate client transportation services Visit /evaluate new transportation clients for service capacity Evaluate safety issues for both clients and staff related to transportation services Coordinate transportation service with front desk Additional Duties and Responsibilities Accounts Receivable Review monthly billing statements Review and approve payment postings against accounts to keep accurate ledgers Assist with contact on delinquent accounts to secure payments for services Accounts Payable Review and approve vendor invoices for services, coding expenses to correct ledger accounts Payroll Processing Verify accuracy of timesheets, cross-referencing to billing records Verify accuracy of wage rates for services rendered Review and approve payroll using systems in a timely manner General Responsibilities Adhere to the policies and procedures of the business with the highest practical standards Participate in and maintain current on all training and education required by the company Communicate effectively with all members of the staff and business partners Provide feedback to others for continuous quality improvement of the entire organization Openly accept feedback from others for the continuous quality improvement of the entire organization Escalate issues when there is appearance that business standards of quality are not present Comply with all rules and regulations of the organization, including HIPAA and safety Perform other duties as assigned Education and Experience: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Required: Associate’s degree in a related area or equivalent work experience 3 to 5 years of Home Health/Home Care Services experience Staff hiring and management/supervision experience May require the employee to drive on company business. Employee must have a valid drivers license and meet organization’s driving requirements Proficiency with MS Office and ability to learn company systems, including web based payroll system Ability to work night and weekend hours as well as to be on call Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in a related area Essential Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactory.
