Operations Manager
WE ARE HIRING!OPERATIONS MANAGER LEC Steel Manufacturing Corporation is looking for a results-driven and experienced Operations Manager to lead and oversee our Production, Installation, Engineering, and Warehouse Operations . The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, efficient manpower utilization, timely project completion, quality standards, and effective coordination among departments. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Oversee Production Operations – Manage production activities, manpower, materials, schedules, productivity, quality, and production targets. Manage Installation Operations – Ensure proper scheduling, manpower deployment, site coordination, installation quality, safety compliance, and timely completion of projects. Lead Engineering Operations – Oversee engineering drawings, technical specifications, material requirements, design coordination, and resolution of technical issues. Manage Warehouse Operations – Ensure proper receiving, storage, inventory control, issuance, documentation, and timely availability of materials and equipment. Coordinate Across Departments – Work closely with Projects, Sales, Purchasing, Finance, HR, and other departments to ensure operational requirements are properly addressed. Monitor Operational Performance – Establish and monitor KPIs covering productivity, quality, delivery, project completion, material utilization, manpower efficiency, and operational costs. Ensure Quality and Compliance – Implement and maintain company standards, work procedures, safety requirements, and quality control measures. Manage Manpower and Resources – Ensure proper manpower allocation, workforce productivity, equipment utilization, and resource planning. Control Operational Costs – Identify opportunities to minimize waste, rework, overtime, material losses, and other unnecessary operational expenses. Resolve Operational Issues – Act promptly on production delays, installation concerns, material shortages, technical issues, and other operational problems. Develop and Improve Processes – Identify operational gaps and implement systems, procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and productivity. Prepare Reports – Provide Management with regular reports and updates on production, installation, engineering, warehouse, manpower, project status, and other operational matters. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Manufacturing, or a related field . At least 5 years of relevant experience in operations management , preferably in manufacturing, construction, steel fabrication, engineering, or installation. Experience managing multiple departments such as Production, Installation, Engineering, and Warehouse . Strong background in manufacturing and project/installation operations . Strong leadership, decision-making, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and teams simultaneously. Knowledge of production planning, inventory management, project coordination, and quality control. Strong communication and coordination skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office and operational reporting tools. Willing to work onsite and travel to project sites when necessary. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience in steel fabrication, fire-rated steel doors, roll-up doors, construction, or similar manufacturing/installation industries . Engineering background or professional license is an advantage. Experience in implementing operational KPIs and process improvement programs. Experience managing both office-based and field personnel.
