Duties Manage daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and POS system oversight to ensure smooth transactions. Lead, supervise, and motivate retail sales teams by providing clear guidance, ongoing training, and performance feedback to foster a high-energy sales environment. Oversee inventory management processes such as stock control, merchandising, purchasing, and inventory audits to maintain optimal product levels. Implement effective pricing strategies and promotional activities to maximize sales and meet revenue targets. Conduct interviewing, employee orientation, onboarding sessions, and training & development programs to build a skilled and engaged workforce. Handle payroll processing, bookkeeping tasks, and manage budgets to ensure financial accuracy and operational efficiency. Maintain excellent customer service standards by resolving issues promptly, managing cashiering operations, and ensuring phone etiquette is upheld at all times. Supervise shift schedules, manage staffing levels for peak times, and oversee store management duties including merchandising and stock replenishment. Skills Strong management skills with proven experience in retail store management or operations leadership. Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate teams through managerial communication techniques. Proficiency in POS systems, inventory control software, and basic math for cash handling and sales calculations. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases effectively. Demonstrated experience in recruiting, interviewing candidates, employee orientation, training & development initiatives. Skilled in negotiation for purchasing negotiations and vendor relations to optimize costs. Knowledge of retail industry sales strategies including pricing tactics, merchandising best practices, and sales management techniques. Experience supervising retail sales teams with a focus on customer service excellence in fast-paced environments. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively across multiple responsibilities such as budgeting, inventory management, and staff supervision.
