Position Overview ER Restoration is seeking an experienced, organized, and highly motivated Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our water damage, fire damage, mitigation, and reconstruction projects. The Operations Manager will be responsible for keeping projects moving efficiently from initial loss through final completion, while coordinating field crews, subcontractors, project managers, vendors, and office staff. We are looking for someone who takes ownership, solves problems before they become bigger problems, holds people accountable, and understands the urgency and customer service required in the insurance restoration industry. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily operations for mitigation and reconstruction projects. Coordinate and manage project schedules, field technicians, subcontractors, vendors, and project managers. Ensure jobs progress according to schedule, scope of work, budget, and company standards. Conduct regular job reviews and identify delays, outstanding items, and potential problems. Maintain clear communication between the office, field personnel, customers, adjusters, property managers, and other parties involved in each project. Help coordinate emergency water and fire damage response. Monitor labor, materials, equipment, subcontractor costs, and overall job profitability. Review project documentation and ensure files are complete and properly maintained. Ensure technicians and subcontractors follow company procedures, safety requirements, and quality standards. Coordinate material ordering, equipment, inspections, subcontractors, and scheduling. Assist with hiring, training, supervising, and evaluating field personnel. Hold employees and subcontractors accountable for schedules, workmanship, documentation, and customer service. Conduct production meetings and maintain accurate project status reports. Help resolve customer concerns and project-related issues quickly and professionally. Work closely with ownership to improve operational systems, productivity, profitability, and company growth. Qualifications 3+ years of experience in construction, restoration, property damage, or a related industry preferred. Previous operations, project management, production management, or construction management experience strongly preferred. Experience with water/fire damage restoration and insurance claims is a major plus. Strong understanding of construction sequencing and project scheduling. Ability to manage multiple active projects simultaneously. Strong leadership and personnel-management skills. Excellent organization, communication, and problem-solving abilities. Comfortable holding employees and subcontractors accountable. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change quickly. Strong computer and technology skills. Experience with Xactimate and restoration/construction project-management software is preferred. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Compensation Competitive salary based on experience.
