We're an ambitious, growing business, manufacturing and processing over 350,000 units per year, and we need someone who can build the operational backbone that supports further growth. The Role Due to continued growth and expansion, we're looking for an experienced Operations Manager to take ownership of our warehouse, production, and fulfilment functions. With a team of four already in place, this is a hands-on role, for someone who can lead a team and design and implement the processes, systems, and structure that will let us scale efficiently as we grow. You'll lead a small, capable team, plan our monthly production run rates, and build the operational foundations, from stock control to warehouse layout and KPI reporting, that will enable our growth. Key Responsibilities Manage and develop the warehouse and production team day-to-day Act as the senior escalation point for production, despatch, and inventory issues Own monthly production run-rate planning, translating sales forecasts and demand into achievable production schedules Balance production plans against labour, material, and capacity constraints Adjust plans proactively as demand and business needs evolve Design and implement processes across warehousing, production, and fulfilment to support growth Implement and uphold robust quality control processes Review and improve inventory and stock control processes Assess and improve warehouse layout and workflow as volume increases Build KPI reporting and dashboards covering throughput, accuracy, and production efficiency Identify when and where additional resource, shifts, equipment, or space will be needed to support growth Work closely with the leadership team on operational planning tied to the wider business strategy Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety policies and procedures What We’re Looking For Proven experience managing warehouse, production, or fulfilment operations, ideally in a business of a similar size or one that has scaled through a comparable growth stage A track record of building or significantly improving processes and systems Experience with production planning, scheduling, or run-rate management Confident, hands-on leadership style, comfortable managing a small team directly and getting involved when required, especially during peak trading periods. Strong communicator, able to coach and develop team members as well as manage performance and maintain a motivated workforce. Data-literate, comfortable setting up and using KPIs to drive decisions Resilient and adaptable, able to work in a fast-moving business without the resources of a larger corporate structure FLT Experience – Not essential, but advantageous Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year Benefits: Company events Employee discount Free parking Work Location: In person
