Operations Manager
Our client is a well-established and growing manufacturing organisation seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead and optimise day-to-day manufacturing operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded and hands-on operations leader who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is passionate about people, performance, safety and continuous improvement. The Opportunity Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, you will take ownership of the warehouse and inventory operations, ensuring products and materials are received, stored, controlled and dispatched efficiently and accurately. You will lead the warehouse team, improve operational processes and systems, and work closely with internal stakeholders across purchasing, sales, production and logistics. Key Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day warehouse and operational activities. Lead, manage and develop the warehouse and operations team. Manage inventory levels, stock movements and inventory accuracy. Oversee receipting, put-away, picking, packing and dispatch processes. Coordinate stock transfers and ensure materials are available when required. Conduct and manage regular stocktakes and inventory cycle counts. Monitor warehouse performance, productivity and operational KPIs. Improve warehouse layout, workflows and inventory processes. Ensure accurate and timely data entry across ERP/WMS systems. Work closely with procurement, production, sales and management to ensure operational requirements are met. Drive a culture of accountability, accuracy, safety and continuous improvement. About You We are looking for an experienced manufacturing operations professional with strong leadership capability and a proven track record of delivering operational results. You will ideally bring: Demonstrated experience in an Operations Manager or similar senior leadership role. Strong understanding of operational processes A strong focus on safety, quality, productivity and continuous improvement. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. A hands-on, pragmatic and solutions-focused leadership style. Relevant qualifications in manufacturing, engineering, operations, business or a related discipline will be highly regarded. Why Join?
